Experienced Animal Rescue Caretaker

Dogs are my passion, and obsession 😆 I've had dogs all my life and once I was on my own I've always had at least 2 dogs. I've been fostering dogs for the last 6 years and have cared for over 20 dogs at a time. I'm experienced in many medical situations and with many types of dog behaviors. I've also owned and cared for many animals including a goat, snake, hedgehog, prairie dog, and sugar gliders. I'm comfortable with all types of animals.

Cherie is amazing! We didn’t worry at all about our dogs while we were gone. Great communication for anything that popped up which was so appreciated and will def use her again in the future!

Cherie did a wonderful job taking care of my boy! She showed lots of love and care for him. She also sent detailed Rover cards which I appreciated and was responsive to feedback as she learned the best way to care for him.

Cherie was the best! She came us in the loop on everything about our dogs, sent great photos of them. We were out of town for two weeks and I can honestly say if we were to go out again she will be the first on my list!!! 😊

Schedule

I work full-time from home with a flexible schedule so its easy for me to do in drop-in visits. Boarded dogs are let out about every 3 hours between 8am - 10pm. I feed 2x a day. I feed separately and am comfortable administering meds. I usually have 10-15 dogs in the home and all get along.

Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 6 dogs
No children present
Dogs not allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Safety, trust & environment

I have a securely fenced yard but don't leave the dogs outside unattended for more than a couple minutes (prepping food). My downstairs is sectioned off by baby gates and I have areas to seperate if needed.

Pets

A typical day

For dogs that come for daycare, most time will be spent inside if temps are above 85. As long as dog friendly, will hang out with me and my pack. I can provide some exercise in the backyard or water play if requested. Drop ins will include outside time, cuddles, water check, feeding as needed, and mess clean-up, if any. Ok with pets that are pad trained.
