Pet care experience

Like a home away from home for pets

Back in 2018, Bailey joined my family home as a 10-week-old puppy. He’s a Sprocker (Springer x Cocker Spaniel), and I helped train him from day one. He’s now entering his senior years, and I still help take care of him regularly (he lives with my parents). I’m very familiar with the energetic, friendly temperament typical of spaniels and understand the needs of both young and older dogs. My husbands family also has a Cockapoo, and I helped train her as a puppy too. She’s more laid-back and very affectionate, so I’ve had experience with a range of dog personalitiew. from playful and high-energy to calm and cuddly. We’re reliable, caring, and genuinely love dogs. Your pet will be treated like part of the family while they’re with us.

Cherie took care of my 4 month old puppy Bluebell - I felt comfortable leaving Bluebell, Cherie read through Bluebell’s care info and asks some additional questions and sent some photos for me too whilst I was away. Bluebell has been taken for a walk before I collected her, which was perfect because then she was sleepy for our car journey back home.

Would highly recommend Cherie and Grant as sitters. Our Molly stayed for 8 nights in December 2025 whilst we went on holiday. They kept up her usual routine and walked and played with her which she loves.

The first time Molly has been stayed away from us. She made herself right at home from the off. Cherie and Grant were brilliant with her. They took her for walks, let her sleep on their furniture when she needed it. Would have no hesitation in booking with them again. An excellent duo. She’s back again in December for a week this time and we have no hesitation in leaving her with them she was as happy when we collected her as when we left her.

Cherie was brilliant and so attentive to Lily’s needs. She sent regular updates and photos, which always puts my mind at ease when shes boarding. Lily was clearly well cared for and happy. Highly recommend

I have a German Shepherd (Loki) who can be a bit high-energy and selective with people, Cherie and her fiancé Grant lived with us for 6 months and their calm energy, patience, and natural understanding of dogs made me able to confidently leave Loki with them without a worry. Cherie has cared for my dog multiple time and I’ve always returned to a happy, well-exercised, and relaxed dog. They are responsible, communicative, and genuinely love animals. I completely trust them with my dog’s well-being and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable and caring sitter or walker.

As Cherie’s dad, I’ve had the pleasure of watching her care for animals her whole life, and I can honestly say she has a special gift. She’s always had a deep love and natural connection with pets, and it really shows in the way she cares for them. Our family dog, Bailey, absolutely adores her. She’s so patient, gentle, and attentive—whether it’s taking him for long walks, playing with him in the garden, or just giving him lots of love and snuggles. What I appreciate most is how responsible she is. She never misses a feeding or a walk, she pays attention to the little things, and she always puts Bailey’s needs first. I’ve seen how calm and happy he is when he’s with her, and that kind of trust and comfort doesn’t come easily If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like family, you won’t find anyone better than Cherie. She’s reliable, loving, and completely devoted to the animals in her care.

Schedule

My fiancée and I recently moved into our own home after living with family, and while we’re not quite ready to commit to getting a dog of our own—mostly due to long travel periods—we really miss having a dog around every day. Pet sitting is the perfect way for us to enjoy the company of dogs while giving them a loving home away from home. I work remotely, so am in the house most of the days Monday-Friday and partially over weekends, depending on our plans. My job is also fully flexible, so I can step away from the laptop at any time to play, walk and spend time with your furry friend.

Our garden is fully fenced in, with both patio and grass. However the garden is tiered and there are 6 steps between the ground patio and the grass. Happy to assist any senior dogs to the grass area if needed (depending on size). We have no other animals in the house.
