Loving pet care when you're away

I've spent many years looking after pets, because I absolutely love them! I'm lucky enough to work completely remotely, so me and my golden retriever are out walking three times a day. I'd love to offer other dogs the same love and playtime that mine gets every day! We're happy with untrained pups and senior care, whether long walks or quiet snuggles are needed. My Goldie is happy to play, but will give a dog plenty of space if that is what they prefer as well.

Loki had the best week staying with Cherie & Ozzie. We met up with them once beforehand for a walk on the beach, and as soon as we arrived to drop Loki off he didn’t look back at all - getting straight on with exploring his new home away from home. Cherie was brilliant at making Loki feel comfortable in his routines (even letting him hog her bed!!) and she sent us lots of lovely photos & updates of all the fun he & Ozzie were having together; so we were able to really relax whilst away knowing he was in such safe hands. Thank you :)

Doggy Day Care • Jul 11, 2026

Cherie was delightful and our labrador Reggie clearly took to her very quickly. Our plans for the day changed which resulted in Reggie only being with Cherie for a few hours, which included a good walk in the local woods. We will definitely book her again for Doggy Day Care. Thank you Cherie.

This was Barney's first experience of being left with amother dog in the house. Cherie and Ozzie were so welcoming lots of lovely reassuring photos and Barney had such a lovely time playing with the big basket of toys, that he didn't want to come home

Cherie went put of her way to make Mitsu comfortable in her house, sleeping in front of the fire, & when the bit of chicken I had left her in addition to her normal food, as she wasn't eating very well Cherie supplied her with some more. Above and beyond expectation. Thank you

Cherie is lovely and clearly adores dogs (and every other animal!). She has looked after our golden retriever, Millie, many times. Millie always has the best time when she's with her. She usually pulls like crazy on walks but Cherie manages her just fine. Her dog Ozzie is super friendly and goofy, and plays great with Millie. Cherie’s home is really welcoming — plus the easy-clean floors make us feel a lot less guilty about our muddy pup. Would 100% recommend her, she’s been brilliant.
