Through my employment as an Animal Care Specialist with a local Humane Society, I have gained experience caring for dogs, cats and small animals with complex behavioural and medical needs. I have received training and experience working with fearful, high arousal and reactive dogs and I continue to access ongoing opportunities to expand my skills and knowledge. An initial meet and greet prior to booking services is important, this will ensure we have an opportunity to build a strong foundation. It’s key that I understand each pet parent’s expectations as your furry friends comfort and success is my priority. I currently hold the following certifications: - Certified Family Dog Mediator, L.E.G.S. Applied Ethology Family Dog Mediation - Canine Handling Skills and Behaviour Knowledge Certificate, Positive Approach Canine Education - Pet First Aid (expires: Sept 2026) - Fear Free Shelter Certification

This is my first time using Rover and I was worrying a bit but Cheri was such a nice pet sitter and my cat really felt comfortable with her! My cat is very shy and sensitive but when I saw photos from Cheri, he seemed comfortable. If I have to use Rover later, definitely I would like to contact with Cheri again! Thank you Cheri😍

Schedule
I am currently available Wednesday through Monday. I have the ability to create a flexible schedule so I can focus on my Rover clients and their individual needs. I do have weekly volunteer commitments that are extremely important to me but are generally flexible with advance notice.
Prices include all fees.
