I am available all day most days, as I work from home. If your pet requires frequent visits, I can accommodate that, but prefer that your pet remain in their familiar surroundings.

Information Cheri G. would like to know about your pet
I'll sit any breed, but probably best that we meet up before your trip. I have had young and old dogs, one of which was a cancer survivor/amputee.
A typical day
The mornings begin with breakfast and a 30 minute walk either on my property or the nearby dog park. Since I work at home, all day is playtime. We'll take a potty break at lunch, and another walk at dinner. I usually spend an hour outside with pets exercising at dinner. We have one more break just before bedtime. I give treats with each potty break as a reward for good behavior. Well-behaved dogs get full run of the house.

I have been a licensed wildlife rehabilitator for 20 years, caring for orphaned and injured mammals. This experience includes administering medication, splinting, and treating wounds, so I am good with special needs animals. I also manage a dog rescue. I own large breed dogs, and am well seasoned in handling them. I have also owned many cats. I prefer to come to your house, where your pet can stay in their surroundings. If you require boarding, I will need to be able to crate your pet.
