Hello! My name is Cher and I am 27 years old. I’m a huge dog lover and always jumped at opportunities to dog sit and walk dogs. I have a few years of long-term dog sitting experience taking care of a dogs for weeks at a time. While working from home during the pandemic, I took up dog sitting on Rover and loved every experience and interaction with different dogs! I enjoy long walks and outdoor activities at the beaches and parks near my apartment, as well as staying home and playing indoors. Happy to answer any other questions you may have and excited to potentially take care of your dog in the near future :)

Cher was absolutely AMAZING. I was quite nervous because it was for two weeks and my dog does not like other dogs but Cher was incredibly flexible to my requests and reassuring throughout with updates. She even took Fen to the beach and on multiple hikes! I could not recommend her more. If you want a reliable, flexible and open communicator then Cher is it!
We were so lucky to find Cher. She was so good to our pup, taking her to the beach as well as on a hike during the 36 hours we were away. We will definitely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone who wants a dog sitter that will treat your dog like their own.
Cher was great! So great, in fact, that I think my pup wants to go back permanently ? Cher sent regular photos of her walks with Indie, and was quick to respond if I had any questions. She was also great about accommodating Indie’s medications. Will definitely use Cher again, if she’ll have us!

Schedule
I currently working from home 2-3x a week and have time to dedicate to taking care of dogs! This includes longer morning / evening walks and potty breaks and play time during the day. The weekends can be spent doing fun activities like going to park :)

I live in an apartment building which includes 24/7 front desk service, a doggy area, and a pet spa. My apartment is a close walk to Fort Greene park.
A typical day
I love going to park, cuddling on the couch, or going out for a coffee run! Also very open to throwing around a ball or frisbee if your dog enjoys it / can be let off leash in contained areas.

- I’d like to know if the dog is friendly (towards humans and other pets) and if he/she is very active. This will be helpful to know what to expect when I’m caring for them and taking them out on walks. Please let me know if there are any separation issues, potty situations in new environments, or loud barking that may happen so I can plan accordingly.
