I love all furry friends and have experience both cat sitting and dog sitting (and, of course, grew up around both). I'm happy to come by during the day to watch your furry friends. I can take long walks with your pets. I also provide medication in food, but would prefer not to stick my fingers in mouths! (I am comfortable administering oral medications to cats.) While I am absolutely happy to provide snuggles, I also am happy to just sit in the same room as your pet. (I know some pets just like to be near you!) Or we can play with their favorite toys! If your pets have some sort of special needs I am happy to accommodate per your instructions. The photographs on my profile are of me with some of the pets that I have pet sat for. I have so many because I constantly update owners with photos of their furry friends! I will provide at least one photo a day of your pet while you're away - so you have peace of mind about how things are going. I do ask that owners send me written pet care instructions, including their preferred veterinary clinic and an emergency contact number. I'll verify this information with you during a pre-planned meet & greet prior to petsitting. I can devote attention to your pet in the mornings and evenings on weekdays, as agreed upon during our meet & greet. I am a researcher at the local university, so will not have weekdays off. I will gladly spend full days on the weekends with you furry friend! I offer my services at client's homes, as this is less stressful for pets in general. While in your home I am very respectful of your things and space.

Chequita was amazing! She kept me updated throughout the day/night I was gone and sent lots of pictures. She even put his medicine on which was a huge help. Overall a very great person to trust your furry friend with
Chequita is a great house sitter. She was right on time for both the meet and greet as well as the day she came to stay with my dogs and cat. She sent pics throughout the day, and texted that she was following their routine. I highly recommend her, and will look to have her house sit again!
After my initial meeting with Chequita, I knew my dogs would be well taken care of while I was away. But, I never expected to do relaxed and pleased with her care for them. She sent a minimum of 2 pictures a day. If she had a concerned, Chequita texted me right away. If she wasn't sure of a behavior, she was in contact. My puppers were happy when I arrived back home after a week away, but not desperate for my attention... which is a true compliment to her. I will definitely be in contact with her again!
Chequita did a great job taking care of our two dachshunds. We loved the frequent updates and would definitely book her again.

Schedule
My schedule varies day-to-day! Please reach out to figure out if your needs will be a good fit with my availability during the week. On weekends I am available over the course of the day.

- Before pet sitting I like to know if your pets have any weird quirks or habits. After the first few days I will likely get a feel for their personality, but knowing a few things ahead of time (e.g. does your dog growl when they're happy?) will help me to best accommodate your pet!
