Cat & Dog with 10+ Years of Care
Hi, I’m Chengyu, an artist and a lifelong animal lover. I grew up in a small city in China surrounded by animals, and I have over 10 years of experience caring for pets. My family had several animals while I was growing up, including a Wire Fox Terrier, three rescued cats, an orange tabby, and a Border Collie. Most of our cats were abandoned strays, and it was very meaningful to watch them become healthy and trusting again after joining our family. I truly believe every animal has its own personality and little world. I enjoy observing their behaviour and making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and loved. I live in a quiet apartment with plenty of sunlight and green spaces nearby. There are many dogs in the neighbourhood, and the Thames walking path is also close by, which makes it perfect for peaceful walks. During your pet’s stay, I will send daily photo or video updates so you always know your pet is happy and safe. I look forward to meeting you and your lovely pet!

I’m really grateful for the care and attention she gave to my cat during boarding. She is incredibly patient, responsible, and genuinely caring with animals. She kept everything clean, paid close attention to my cat’s condition and habits, and made me feel very reassured the whole time. You can really tell she loves cats and treats them with a lot of kindness. I would definitely trust her again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful cat sitter.

Chengyu was amazing with our slightly nervous dog Maddie. She was very patient and calm, and Maddie warmed up to her quickly. The updates during the stay were great, we could tell Maddie was comfortable and well looked after. We would absolutely book again.
Chengyu is a nice pet caregiver, she is a patient, generous and friendly girl. My dog DODO loves her even more than me, so jealous!!!
I’ve asked Chengyu to look after my rescue dog Nana more than five times now, for both short and longer stays, and I will definitely continue booking her in the future. She is wonderful with dogs and treats Nana with genuine respect and care, almost as if she were another little person. That really impressed me. It’s clear how much she truly loves animals, which makes it very easy to trust her. I would highly recommend Chengyu to anyone looking for an excellent and reliable dog sitter!!!
My Pug Max had a lovely stay with Chengyu! She was very attentive and made sure he got plenty playtime. Communication was excellent throughout and received lots of photos. Max came home happy and tired from all the fun, I appreciate you, Chengyu xxxx!

Schedule
I recently graduated from university and currently have a flexible schedule while doing part-time work, volunteering, and searching for a full-time position. Because of this, I can arrange my time around the needs of the pets I care for. When a dog stays with me, I usually take them out for walks three times a day — around 8am, 12pm, and 4pm. There are grassy areas just downstairs from my building, and we also have access to a beautiful walking path along the Thames, which is perfect for relaxed walks and outdoor time. The routine can always be adjusted depending on your dog’s habits, energy level, and your preferences.

I live in a quiet, sunny apartment with a calm and comfortable environment where pets can feel safe and relaxed. The neighbourhood is peaceful and very pet-friendly, with plenty of green space nearby. When caring for pets, I always follow the owner's instructions carefully, including feeding schedules and any special needs. I pay close attention to animals’ behaviour and comfort so they feel secure in a new environment. I also send regular photo or video updates so owners can feel reassured that their pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is always to treat every pet with patience, respect, and affection so they feel at home while staying with me.
