Favorite human of a 5 year old Lab
My dad used to be a renowned dog breeder in the town I grew up. I learned to take good care of dogs before I know the same for myself. I now have my own paw friend, a 5-year-old creamy Lab, that I raised since she was a yummy 6-weeks-old puppy. I love spending time with dogs and enjoy doing things to make them happy. My Rover experience started during the pandemic as looking for playdates to keep my dog socialized at her own place. She has made lots of good paw friends and has become more confident. I’m currently working from home with a flexible schedule. Between me and my partner, there'll always be someone(human and dog) home to keep your pup accompanied. I always have plain freshly boiled chicken, carrots and eggs handy for my dog as meal toppings. Happy to provide to yours as complimentary. I feed pups separately to make sure they enjoy their meal.

Chen was wonderful with Dakota and detail oriented. Dakota had plenty of play time and rest time. She enjoyed hanging out with Chen’s dog Eleven. I appreciated the photos and communication Chen provided throughout the day.
Chen is not only highly experienced and knowledgeable about dogs, she is also a caring, responsive and considerate provider. She was flexible and accommodating of our last-minute schedules. Chen kept us updated about our puppy’s activities during his stay with her, with photos and videos. Our pup came back looking happy and well-cared-for. We wholeheartedly recommend Chen for taking care of your pups when you need a dog sitter.
Chen is absolutely amazing! Incredibly responsive, sends many pictures of our pup, and overall a fantastic and trustworthy caretaker. We would not want to bring our puppy to anyone else! When we drop our pup off at Chen's she doesn't want to leave. We will go back to Chen for any boarding needs.
Chen has always taken such good care of Turing. He comes back a very happy and tired doggo! She is very understanding of our pick up and drop off times. She understands dogs very well. She also sends tons of pictures of Turing and other pups during his stay with her. She is truly the best!
Chen is incredible— she deeply cares for the puppies, and is so communicative with updates. She also takes time to send many, many photos. Our puppy also comes back with better leash manners after staying with Chen, she’s a great teacher too. We try to plan our vacations based on Chen’s calendar; she’s the best!
Our sweet husky mix Coco spent Memorial Day weekend at Chen’s while we were busy with a family reunion. Chen is the best! She has taken excellent care of Coco for short and longer term stays and has always given us peace of mind with many photos of Coco looking happy and content . Highest rating for Chen !

Schedule
Boarding dogs sleep on the bedroom floor or living room based on their own preference. I release them to the backyard for water and morning potty break 7-8 am, followed by breakfast. Morning walk, game time in the backyard or baseball field around 9 am. Dogs then will take naps or play with toys indoors. They would have unlimited access to the backyard throughout the day. Dinner around 6-7 pm, followed by a neighborhood walk or free run time in the fenced baseball field. Sleep time around 10 pm. I would be happy to help with wiping eyes, brushing hair/teeth if that's part of the preferred daily routine.

I have a fenced backyard, with a designated gravel dog potty area. I’m great at following instructions and making sure your pup is comfortable and cared for. I love all the dogs, but I have learned from a very young age that some are just easier to love. I only accept to host dogs that I feel comfortable handling. My rate fluctuates base on my availability to accept new clients, not my quality of service.

A typical day
Community park with big open grass area and closed gate baseball field is 5 mins walk away. Quarry lake park is 5 mins biking away. My 6-year-old lab girl gets along with all sizes and breeds, and she has a curated growing collection of toys that she loves to share with yours. I give boiled eggs and dehydrated beef lung as daily treats. If your pup does not eat beef or chicken, please let me know.

- To ensure the best care I ask that you leave a detailed normal routine that your pup has been following on your Rover profile. I prefer a meet and greet to go over everything and make sure our pack is a good fit. Updated on vaccination and flea treatment, house trained with no accidents is a must. I do not use pee pads inside the house.
