We love your dog!
Our friends pets love it here. We are a family of four; Ben, Chelsie, Calvin (7), and Clay (5), who spend a lot of time at home and around the neighborhood. I work from home and have plenty of opportunities for daytime walks. We regularly go on walks, jogs, hikes, and bike rides at our neighborhood trail or at nearby Sar Ko Par trails. Our backyard is fenced in for easy play and bathroom breaks. The home is hardwood throughout main level and carpet upstairs. Children’s rooms will be closed off to pets to avoid toy mixups, but master is available. Bonus: our 7 year old sprints across the yard nonstop for an hour at a time and would love an energetic friend. While I don’t have any special skills that a dog owner might have, I do have a special place in my heart and home for dogs and wish we had one of our own. But, since we don’t, we would absolutely love to house your pet(s) for your next vacation!

Oliver was perfectly happy and relaxed when I picked him up. I was not sure if he actually wanted to come home with me or stay with Chelsie and the family! 😃
I highly recommend Chelsie and her family! I have never left my dog with anyone except for family members, and I was very nervous. Chelsie and her family were so kind to my dog and made me feel very comfortable. I could tell when I picked up my pup that he was just fine and from the pictures that she sent me I could tell that he was having fun. It was a great experience.
Chelsie was fantastic and welcoming. I know our dog was in great hands as soon as we arrived for drop off. We received pictures during our dog’s stay and she looked very happy during her walks. Would definitely book again!
Chelsie and her family took wonderful care of Bo during his visit.She sent me photos of his walks and playing with her sons, & he looked like he was grinning in the photos. Thank you for treating him like part of the family. We will definitely call you the next time we visit Kansas City.
Chelsie provided a loving environment for our dog with high anxiety. Her communication and updates helped us to know how are dog was doing. Her family welcomes their furry friend guests into their home like family.
Our dog can be quite anxious but Chelsie and her family accommodate her needs well, giving her the home feeling she needs. Thanks Chelsie!

Schedule
I work from home and walk the kids to and from school. Day sitting hours are 7AM-6PM. Please no pickups after 8PM (because of kids bedtime).

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in backyard on a cul-de-sac street. We keep all pets on leash during walks. Upstairs (kids rooms) will be blocked off while we have pet visitors.
A typical day
During the week, we walk to and from school and our visiting dogs get lots of attention from the school kids. While the kids are at school our visiting dogs have unlimited access to the fenced backyard and several cozy spots in the house while I work from home. On weekends we are outside as much as possible and enjoy walks, jogs, sprinkler play, and fetch.
