Information Chelsie G. would like to know about your pet

Since I live in an apartment building it’s super helpful to know if your dog has separation anxiety that causes them to bark when alone. Also good for me to know if they’re good with other dogs since there are a lot of dogs in building.

A typical day

Being new to the area I’m excited to take a lot of walks and get to know the neighborhood and other dogs and their owners out walking around.

Pet care experience

I recently moved to Charleston from Washington DC. Looking forward to meeting new doggie friends as it was heartbreaking to leave my pups behind for move. My apartment building has a fully fenced in dog park for off leash play time and exercise. My husband used to work for a dog rescue shelter so we are both dog lovers. I’ve cared for 1-3 dogs at a time, cats, Guinea pigs, fish, and hermit crabs. If you are looking for an awesome dog cuddler I have references for you to check :) I have experience with senior dogs, puppies, sick dogs, and high energy dogs. While I am caring for your dog I will keep open lines of communication with texts, pictures, etc. My goal is to make both you and your dog feel at ease when being apart from each other. I genuinely enjoy the time I spend with the dogs I watch and have made many friends with the owners over the years since we’re in contact so much. Thank you for considering me to take care of your bestest friend/dog child! I have 1 puppy who is very social and playful. Dog must be friendly with others and not have separation anxiety since I work full time.

Chelsie was great! She was super communicative from the first time I reached out, set up a great meet and greet to make sure my pup and he’s got along, and sent wonderful videos and photos during his stay! As a dog sitter myself, I’m picky about who I leave my pup with, and I’ll definitely be coming back to Chelsie. So glad to have found her!
