When I care for pets in your home, I care for them as if they were my own. I follow medicine, food, potty break and sleeping schedules.

Information Chelsey W. would like to know about your pet

I would need to know the following before I accept a booking. - I would need to know how your pet sleeps at night (crate, on their dog bed, etc). Pets can unfortunately not sleep in the bed with me since I have a back injury. And I need all the rest to care for your babies 🐾 - if you are comfortable with me leaving the house for a few hours to care for other pets on Rover during the day. I will of course return. I would be gone max 3 hours. - I would need to know if your pet has rules at your home that you enforce so I can continue to enforce. - For overnight stays: I would need to have a separate and clean guest room with a mattress and bedding. I unfortunately cannot accept any bookings where I sleep on a couch, blow up mattress or in the owners room due to my back injury and personal preference. For drop ins and overnight stays: I would need access to proper and free parking. If I have to try to find a parking spot on the street or somewhere without consistent parking or have to pay for parking, I will unfortunately not be able to accept booking.

A typical day

I love to take animals for a morning walk to get exercise and start the day in some sun ☀️ I then feed them, play with them, and give them a chewy bone for activity. If schedule allows, I give them a second and third feeding, followed by a short walk. Lastly, I end the day with a really long walk to make them tired and ready for bed.

🐶🐈🐰 Lover - I work from 🏠

Pet care experience

My “WHY”: I love all animals! All of my 3 dogs and 1 cat are rescues. I provide the love, care, attention, exercise and most importantly the safety that these precious animals deserve. And I promise to do the same to yours. Every time I care for an animal on Rover, I think to myself, “If someone were watching my precious babies, how would I want the rover sitter to act?” For me, I would want someone who consistently communicates with me through rover, sends me updates with pics and videos, someone who respects my animals, follows care direction, anticipates their needs and plays with them. And that’s exactly what I offer and I always go above and beyond. Look at my reviews! Other experience: For the past 4 years, I have been volunteering at an animal shelter called "Pet Orphans" in Van Nuys. My duties include washing dogs, walking them, socializing with dogs and cats and cleaning up after different types of animals, even rabbits :). Flexibility: I work 100% remote. I am able to walk, administer meds, play with pets and feed pets throughout the day. I understand that a lot of animals have separation anxiety, so being remote is always best for them.

Chelsey was absolutely incredible! We were away on an international trip for over 10 days and she was the most perfect house & pet sitter for our sweet, old senior pup. I tend to have anxiety when we travel and Chelsey made sure to send me updates and multiple photos every day to help ease my mind that all was well back home. She showed such love and care for our pup Donut, and our home! She even went above and beyond when, due to flight delays and issues on our return trip home, we needed to have a friend stay unexpectedly for an additional night by washing our guest room linens and towels to make sure our friend had what they needed when she left. We will 100% be booking with Chelsey again and I can't recommend her enough for anyone who needs pet-sitting support! <3
