Hey, I’m Chelsey! I’ve always been a lover of animals. I volunteered at an animal adoption sanctuary several times during the week to help socialize dozens of puppies & kittens as well as senior dogs & cats to get them ready for adoption. It’s bittersweet investing time into the younger ones & saying “goodbye” as they go into their new homes but I wouldn’t trade it for the world!

As mentioned, I volunteered at an animal adoption sanctuary that was run out of the founder’s lovely home. I have bottle fed & rocked to sleep kittens that were small enough to fit into the palm of my hand & maintained their feeding schedule. I’ve also periodically helped injured dogs and taken them to vet appointments when needed! Now, I have a cozy apart in East Garland that is my safe place & it would be a safe place for your pet too!

I just returned to my house .the sitter did come day prior and it was the last feeding for my dogs . I believe the sitters name was Chelsea. She seem to feed the pets, but not refill their bowls with water. On top of that, she left the lid open so all the food got ruined with the rain. Also, when I came back, I had found the gate I told her to come in open they could’ve stolen something from my property or another animal could’ve came into my property. I am very, very, very disappointed. In the sitter I expected more just like the previous ones.
Chelsey has been a natural and fearless dog lover since she could walk, and even before she had her own. And the love between them is mutual - no matter the size or breed. That's why the owner of Jill's Acres, a privately-owned pet foster agency, loves her. Chelsey is proud to have played a vital role in the socialization of foster animals, ensuring they receive the love, care and compassion they deserve, while they wait to find their forever homes, coaxing them to live their best lives.

Schedule
I work in administration for Elementary Education & my life is quite hectic! However, I am most available after 4pm M-F & all day Saturday & after 1pm Sundays.

- Please let me know if your dog is prone to anxiety in new places or around strangers (including small children), especially if his anxiety causes him/her to be reactive when approached or touched. How does your dog do around another dogs? Taking him/her to Pet Smart to pick out a toy sounds like a fun activity but if other dogs being within a close proximity may be an issue, I will be sure to find a less overstimulating activity!
