Hi! I’m Chelsey — a 33-year-old, reliable and enthusiastic animal lover located in the West End of Guelph. I’d love the chance to provide caring, customized support for your furry (or feathered/scaly!) family members while you’re away. As a pet parent myself, I know how stressful it can feel to leave your pets behind, and my goal is to make the experience as easy and worry-free as possible. I’ve been around animals my entire life and have a strong passion for animal rescue work. Volunteering with rescue organizations has taught me how to read body language, build trust, and respect each animal’s comfort level. At home, I currently have a rescue cat and a foster cat, and while I don’t have a dog right now, I have extensive experience walking and caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Your pets will always be safe, supported, and treated like my own. Although Rover focuses on dogs and cats, I’m also happy to care for a wide variety of other pets. I have hands-on experience with guinea pigs, hamsters, rats, rabbits, chinchillas, snakes, birds, and fish. If you have a unique household pet, feel free to reach out — I’m always excited to help.

I acknowledge that there is no one size fits all when it comes to pet care. I am happy to cater my services to meet the need of your individual pet! I will request to book a meet and greet with all new pets/owners. This meet and greet is free and allows me to introduce myself to you and get to know your pets and their specific needs.

I was very happy with the care Chelsey gave to my cat Delilah. She arrived and departed on the agreed times and was conscientious about feeding and cleaning the litter boxes. To my surprise Chelsey managed to coax my extremely skittish feline into accepting pets and treats as evidenced by the photos she sent, truly a ‘cat whisperer’. Schedule
I am currently working Monday to Friday from 9-5. I am available weekday evenings, and all day on weekends and holidays to care for your pets. NOTE: I do not charge extra for holidays. Your pets deserve quality, affordable care 365 days a year!

- Please let me know if your pet has any special requirements. This includes any medications they may be taking, injuries, and behavioral traits such as fears, triggers, separation anxiety etc. I am happy to uphold any training schedules your dog may be on! Just let me know! On walks I will bring all natural beef liver dog treats with me for positive reinforcement. Please let me know if your dog is allowed to have treats. If they have a favorite treat you would like to provide I am happy to take those along as well! I look forward to meeting you and your furry companions!
