Hi! I’m Chelsey — an interior designer by day with a lifelong soft spot for animals. If I hadn’t found my calling in design, I truly believe I would have pursued veterinary medicine. Animals have always been part of my world. I grew up around both cats and dogs and have over 15 years of experience pet-sitting for friends, family, and clients. My home is a very calm, grounded space, so I’m best suited for low to moderate-energy pets who enjoy a slower pace, gentle walks, and lots of presence. My puppy Nova plays well with other dogs and I'd love to have friends over for her during the day as I work from home with a close eye! Spending time with animals feels genuinely nourishing to me, and caring for yours would be something I do with a lot of intention and love. Because my home has carpet and an Airbnb guest suite above me, I’m best matched with pets who are past the puppy stage to teach mine good manners lol, are house-trained, and not prone to frequent barking — especially in response to normal household sounds like people walking. Creating a peaceful environment is important to me and helps pets feel relaxed and secure while they’re here. I enjoy walking in all seasons, maintaining consistent routines, and creating a space where animals feel safe, calm, and cared for. Chelsey was so amazing! My dog Leah is particular about people, and tried to intimidate her at first but Chelsey took it in stride. I got pictures and updates about Leah everyday, which definitely decreased my anxiety about leaving her for so long. So happy to have someone I can trust with Leah. I will definitely be contacting Chelsey again if I need a sitter! ?

Chelsey was great and pretty flexible since I was out of state. I never had the chance to meet ahead of time because of my schedule, but I couldn’t be happier with how she treated me and my cat! Chelsey sent me nice updates and plenty of pictures over the week, which was especially nice over the holidays. I would absolutely book with her again!
This was a really great experience for us. It offered more 1:1 that our dog needs at a much more affordable rate. We’ve taken our pup to doggie daycares before and she gets so anxious to leave. When we went to pick her up from Chelsey, she was comfortable. Like she totally would have stayed longer to play. That was very different then our previous experiences, in the best possible way. Our sweet Winnie can have a lot of energy, but I have no doubt all her needs were met. 1000% would do this again. Chelsey was fabulous.
Chelsey was an amazing care taker for our cat. She sent pictures and kept us up to date all the time. We could tell she really cared for the animals. I would recommend!!

Schedule
Aside from Mondays being 9-hour days at work, I am home the majority of the week which is perfect for walks, attentiveness and allowing potty breaks in my fenced backyard.

I follow your pet’s normal feeding schedule while offering plenty of companionship, gentle movement, and rest. My home is best suited for low to moderate-energy pets, and I adjust activities based on their needs to keep them comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for. :)

A typical day
With cats, I offer gentle play and enrichment, rotating toys and engaging them in short play sessions to keep things interesting. With dogs, I enjoy relaxed games of fetch in my fenced backyard, daily neighborhood walks, and, if you’re comfortable with car rides, peaceful outings to nearby trails for mental stimulation and fresh air. I always follow your pet’s energy level and prioritize calm, positive experiences.
