A typical day
Every pet is unique, and I tailor my care to fit each pet’s needs and routine. Here's what a typical day might look like when I'm taking care of your furry, scaly, or feathered friend: Morning: • I’ll start the day with a fresh check-in, ensuring your pet is comfortable, well-fed, and ready for the day ahead. If I’m pet-sitting or staying overnight, I'll offer a morning walk or some playtime to get their energy up. • For cats or small animals, I'll make sure their litter is clean and their food and water bowls are topped off. Midday: • During midday visits, I make sure your pet gets a bathroom break, a little play, or a quick walk—depending on what they need. I’ll also offer them treats, give them affection, and check on their general well-being. • For reptiles or small mammals, I’ll ensure their habitats are clean and they’re receiving the right food and temperature. Afternoon: • If your pet enjoys a longer walk or more intensive playtime, this is the time for it! We can go on a nature walk, visit a park, or just enjoy some time in the yard or indoors for some fun games. • If I’m staying with your pet overnight, I’ll ensure they are comfortable and settle in for a cozy evening, with plenty of attention, treats, and relaxation time. Evening: • As the day winds down, I’ll make sure your pet has their last potty break, evening meal, and perhaps one more round of play or snuggles before bedtime. • If they’re a pet that loves to cuddle, I’ll make sure they feel relaxed and secure before settling in for the night. Throughout the day, I’m always observant and attentive to any changes in their behavior or health, ensuring they’re as happy and comfortable as possible.
