I am a student at UVA, but am home for the summer looking to spend time doing something I love (being with animals)! I have another job as a server, but my schedule is very flexible and easy to adjust so I am often available!

Safety, trust & environment

In your home, I make sure to solely focus on your pet and their needs and nothing else. If needed/asked, I can crate your pets or make sure they have everything necessary in there, along with making sure there are no choking hazards or anything like that.

Information Chelsea T. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I should account for. For example, if they don’t react well to seeing other dogs, I’ll know to be mindful of that during walks. Also, if they have any allergies of things found in nature.

A typical day

I like to make sure the pets I see are stimulated both mentally and physically. After long walks where they’ve sniffed everything in their path, I like to play catch/fetch to make sure they’re getting all their energy out.

Pet care experience

Hi!! Along with my great love for pets and animals in general, I have a dog (yorkiepoo 8 y/o) who I am the sole caretaker for. Also, I have been pet sitting (coming by to walk/feed/hang out with) for a family with two dogs (labrador 7 y/o, retriever 9 y/o) for about 5 years. Lastly, I often spend days/weeks pet/house sitting for family with pets who take medicine daily and need regular exercise!

I'm always nervous leaving my cat alone when I'm gone so I was very stressed about all the travel I had to do for the holidays. Chelsea was fantastic and it was clear after the first day that I had nothing to worry about. I would definitely book with her again and would recommend her to anyone!

Chelsea is the best! She went above and beyond while caring for our cats. We are grateful for her thoughtfulness and kindness.
