I have two dogs (littermates) in the home and they love making friends with new Rover clients! But I like to state this up front because if you'd like your dog to be the only dog in the home, I am not the best fit for your stay, but I'm more than happy to refer you to the sitter who watches my dogs. If you're ok with your dog staying with other pups, I recommend a meet & greet before confirming a booking, so I can ensure our dogs all get along and are comfortable with each other. I grew up with dogs and we ranged from having 3-6 at a time, small and large. We also took care of special needs dogs, so I've had a dog in a wheelchair and a dog without eyes and am familiar with administering medication. Ever since college I'd missed being around puppers so was constantly helping out with friend's dogs, and playing with them whenever possible. I've been dogsitting since high school for other people and clients would call me reliable, committed and caring. I am definitely the person walking down the street asking to pet your dog (or at least complimenting them openly). I would be happy to spend some time and share some love with your dog and understand that he or she is another member of the family, not just a pet. I work remotely from my home so hanging, walking, petting, loving & playing with pups is integrated into the full day for all of us! I have a fenced in yard for those that aren't comfortable with walks. I live in a condo with a fenced in yard, walking distance from the Eckington dog park.
