Hi!! My name is Chelsea. My husband, Steven and I recently lost our soul dog of 13 years, Rudy. He was the best, grumpiest, sweetest little sunshine boy in the whole world. We really miss having fur babies around us but aren't currently ready to adopt yet. We thought we'd open our home to other doggos whose parents need to getaway for vacation or who need someone to check in on their babies during the day 💕💕. I was a VERY anxious dog mama so I understand how scary it can be to leave your baby with someone else. I'm happy to provide loads and loads of photos (proof of life as I like to call it 😉) as well as any do any other little activities/tasks that might make you feel better about leaving your baby (happy to FaceTime you, sing them the lullaby you sing at night, etc 😘). Our sweet boy passed after living with Canine Cognitive Disorder for a year, so while we love doggos of all ages, we have developed a soft spot for seniors 💕🙏🏻. We'd love to give all the snuggles and walks and treats and love to your fur baby while you're away 💕💕

As always, Chelsea and Steve treated our pup to the best time! She’s been laying in her bed most of the night now—-I think she wants to go back and is sad we are home now.
I can relax and enjoy my time away from Jack Jack because I'm confident in the care and attention he receives from Chelsea and Steven.

Schedule
My husband and I both work full time from home so your fur baby will get lots of attention if staying with us! I'm a morning person so I'm happy to do early walks or early breakfast times.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced in yard and are VERY diligent about keeping the gates locked (and doors closed). We have a small doggy door if your baby would like to go "in and out" all day, but are also happy to keep that shut for your peace of mind. I love spending time in the yard so your baby will have lots of company!
A typical day
Breakfast is typically outside on the lanai (if Mom and Dad approve, bites of my eggs or peanut butter toast can be shared 😉) and then we can explore the backyard and get some morning sunshine. I have a wonderful neighborhood for walking or jogging with loads of good sniffing spots. We'll spend lots of time snuggling on the couch or in my office and can sneak outside for as many breaks as we both need 😉😉. I have several puzzle boards and dog toys for mental stimulation inside and I'd be happy to throw frisbees or balls in the yard as well! And doggos are always welcome to snuggle in bed with us 🥰🥰🥰

And if you have any special/"extra" requests, don't be afraid to ask! I was an anxious dog mama, too 🙏🏻🙏🏻💕💕. I get it. We are happy to schedule a Meet and Greet with you and your pup, too, prior to the first scheduled visit. If your dog is reactive to other dogs or is required to be the only dog in the house, just let us know beforehand 💕💕. We're happy to accommodate.
