I have a full time job that has a consistent weekday schedule that leaves my weekends open. Right now I am open all day, all hours for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

I will take care of your pet however you like, and I'll make sure I fully understand all levels of care needed for you pet. If they know commands, I'll use the ones you use to further reinforce what you've been teaching them. If you feed them raw foods, fresh foods, frozen or kibble it's no problem. If they need fresh water changed throughout out the day, it's done. There really isn't anything I'm averse to doing to ensure your pet is taken care of.

I need to know if they are reactive and what they are reactive towards. Do they bark at the mailman, at other dogs, people, men, women or everyone, cars, large trucks, cats and smaller animals. Do they bite or nip, are they scared of anything like loud noises or other dogs. Every dog is unique so I really like to put an emphasis on knowing your pet with no assumptions on behavior. If they need special adjustments is something I also need to know. Do they need their food prepared a specific way, do they need a special toy they're attached to to go with them, do they need any medications, do they have any watch out sighs? An example of the last one is that I've watched a couple dogs that love to play ball to the point where they won't take a break from water or to cool down. I have to look out for when to stop playing to cool down and either continue or do a different activity.
A typical day
I personally like to play whatever games your pet is into, if it's playing ball, tug of war, finding scents, or just hanging out. It really is what the pet is comfortable with and what they're interested in. If they like to go on walks or if that is a service you want I personally like to hike and walk around the riverside park and the MERA trail systems. If they need space from other dogs and people, I also like the national forest around the Blue Mountain Interpretive Park. I am a hiker and I work in natural resources so I am comfortable and familiar with the Wallowa-Whitman national forest around La Grande.

Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs of all sizes and shapes including puppies and senior dogs. This app has a strong emphasis on dogs, which is no problem but I'd like to mention cats too. For everything I mention about dogs it applies to cats too. I've had dogs, I have 2 cats, I have 6 chickens and I've taken care of a whole gambit of creatures like fish and birds. I just like hanging out with animals, I watch my neighbors and brothers dogs often. I do a lot of outdoor work for my main profession so I can take dogs on plenty of walks if needed. I know when to keep an eye out for overheating and dehydration. I am great at following directions and learning watch out signs for other medical issues that are brought to my attention beforehand. No dog is too picky for what their challenges are for food, medication or rituals they need to be healthy and comfortable. That being said... dogs that are aggressive towards people and/or other dogs will be case by case and isn't an automatic no but I reserve the right to decline service if I don't feel I can safely handle them.
