I work full-time from home, alongside my husband. We both have flexibility to care for, walk, and play with pups throughout the day! I do travel some, but will block my calendar whenever I am out of town. We are accustomed to pet care because we recently lost our Nabs, so we miss taking care of dogs! Many of the photos are of our house in NJ, not the one in Bella Vista. I used to do rover over there and those are pictures of some of the wonderful pups I took care of!!

Safety, trust & environment
I provide attentive, structured care tailored to each dog’s needs while maintaining a safe, calm routine. In my home, dogs follow a consistent daily rhythm that includes regular walks, supervised play, rest periods, and time enjoying our fully fenced backyard. Physical activity is balanced with downtime so dogs stay both stimulated and relaxed. I am comfortable with crates and can follow a dog’s existing routine, or care for dogs who do not use a crate. For safety and consistency, dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific behavioral or medical needs. My goal in every setting is to provide reliable, calm, and compassionate care so pets feel secure and well cared for while their families are away.

Information Chelsea S. would like to know about your pet
- we will only accept dogs that are 110% okay with kids. Best for everyone! Dogs, kids, and sunshine :). - any health concerns or specific allergies - level of training and specific words/movements used for commands (prefer this in writing) - any specific expectations for the caretaking of your pup
A typical day
Activities always depend on the individual dog’s personality, energy level, and preferences. I tailor each day to what the dog enjoys most while keeping safety and routine a priority. For active dogs, that may include longer trail walks, structured outdoor exercise, and backyard games like fetch or free play. For dogs who enjoy social interaction, supervised visits to the dog park may be an option with owner approval. We also spend plenty of time in our backyard for relaxed exploration, sniffing, and play, which many dogs love just as much as a long walk. For dogs who enjoy water, I incorporate safe water play or cooling off during warm weather. No matter the activity, everything is supervised and adjusted to the dog’s comfort level. My goal is for each pet to feel happy, engaged, and cared for in a way that feels natural to them—not forced into a one-size-fits-all routine.

Pet care experience
Caring for dogs has been woven into my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by litters of golden retriever puppies, learning from a very young age what it means to nurture, train, and truly understand dogs. From the chaos of wiggly toddlers and clumsy paws to the quiet responsibility of daily care, that early experience shaped a deep respect for dogs as family members, not just pets. It taught me patience, consistency, and how to read a dog’s needs long before they can tell you themselves. Our approach to dog walking and boarding is grounded in that lifelong experience and in a home environment that is calm, loving, and structured. We don’t run a kennel — dogs in our care become part of our household. Walks are attentive and purposeful, playtime is supervised, and downtime is just as valued as activity. We focus on safety, routine, and emotional comfort so dogs feel secure while their families are away. Our home is also filled with life: we have two small, energetic children who adore animals and have been raised to respect them. Because of this, we only accept dogs who are truly kid- and toddler-friendly. In return, dogs get constant companionship, gentle interaction, and a lively but loving environment that mirrors real family life — not isolation or crates all day. Most recently, we said goodbye to our beloved girl, Nabs, who left a deep imprint on our hearts. Caring for her through every stage of life reaffirmed why this work matters so much to us. While we’re still healing, we’re opening our home to other sweet dogs and puppies who need attentive, trustworthy care while their families are away. If you’re looking for someone who treats your dog with experience, empathy, and genuine love, we’d be honored to help. The house in many of the picture is our house in NJ and not in Bella Vista. When I lived there, I used to do rover and those are pictures of many of the pups I took care of :).
Reviews

Our pups had a great time with Chelsea and her family. Looking forward to working with her again!
Our dogs had the best time, Chelsea and her family were amazing.

Chelsea was very easy to communicate with. She answered all my questions and took in consideration our concerns and needs. Updates were timely and her home and family were very welcoming. Most important my fur baby came home happy and healthy. I will definitely rebook for boarding overnight if she has availability.

Creek walks and hiking and an amazing backyard. I think our dog liked it at Chelsea’s better than our own house! Haha. Chelsea and her family were amazing with our dog. She sent updates and pictures and I felt extremely comfortable leaving my senior dog with her. Our pup was worn out when she got home in a good way and I will for sure be re-booking Chelsea in the future!!!
