Yorkie Dog Care

Hi! If you have a Yorkie, you found your sitter. I’m Chelsea, and after years of caring for my own late Yorkie, plus watching, clients’, friends’ and family members’ dogs, I’ve realized Yorkies truly have my heart. Their personalities, routines, sensitivity, and little quirks are something I genuinely understand and enjoy. I know how nerve wracking it can feel to leave your dog with someone new, especially when they’re family. I have 15+ years of hands on experience caring for small dogs and provide attentive in home boarding with close supervision, thoughtful updates, consistency, and lots of affection. I’m also certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. At this time, I primarily accept Yorkies and may consider other small hypoallergenic breeds on a case by case basis. My goal is to create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment where your pup feels cared for and at home.

Chelsea was amazing!! She was so attentive and loving with my babies while I was away. She sent tons of pics and it was evident that they were both so happy in her home. Definitely will be calling Chelsea back the next time I have to go out of town!

Chelsea was amazing! She took great care of my dogs, sent regular updates and photos, and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. It was clear they were happy and well cared for the whole time. I’d absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

I highly recommend Chelsea for all of your pet sitting needs. I've seen first hand how much she loves and cares for her own dog, as well as colleagues' fur babies when we worked together at a pet care company for several years. She's super responsible, professional, and compassionate- everything you need in a sitter for your precious fur baby!

Chelsea is someone I've trusted in my home for overnight care. She’s respectful, tidy, and very responsible. If she’s house sitting, you won’t have to worry.

If Chelsea is watching your dog, you can expect thoughtful updates and clear, consistent communication. She understands how reassuring that is for pet parents when they’re away.

Schedule

I work from home full time, which allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, supervision, and attention throughout the day based on your dog’s normal routine and needs. I keep a flexible schedule and intentionally limit bookings to one dog per stay so your pup gets my full attention and a calm environment. I’m experienced with feeding schedules, supplements, medications, and the routines dogs rely on to feel comfortable in a new space. I prioritize being present, reliable, and consistent so your dog feels safe and cared for while you’re away.

Safety, trust & environment

I follow your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible, including walks, feeding schedules, medications, and sleep habits, to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. My home includes a gated first floor balcony with direct outdoor access and a secure fenced dog park in my building. I’m happy to follow your preference for leash walks, supervised park time, or both. I work fully from home, so your dog is supervised throughout the day and never left unattended outside. I’m Pet First Aid and CPR certified through the American Red Cross and very experienced administering oral, topical, and injectable medications. I also send tons of photos and updates!

A typical day

A typical day with me is calm, attentive, and tailored to your dog’s routine and personality. Depending on their needs, that may include walks, playtime, cuddle time, potty breaks, treats, or simply having a quiet companion nearby while I work from home. I keep a relaxed environment and focus on helping your dog feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away.
