Fetchin’ Fun in the Sun

Full time teacher- out of the house 7am-4:30pm m-f Planned maternity leave July 26-September 1st Hello! I am full time music teacher (summers off!) and animal lover! I have been pet sitting since I was 10 years old. I began by taking care of my neighbors dogs/cats/etc. while they were on vacation, and I quickly had my own empire in my parents neighborhood. I have been on Rover almost 10 years now. My husband and I currently have a 4 year old cattle dog named Greta, a 3 year old Labrador named Keeley, and four cats: Penny, Jerry, Franklin and Cosmo. I previously lived on a small horse farm with horses, chickens, up to 6 dogs, and up to 7 cats. I took great pride in helping take care of the animals on the farm. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!

Doggy Day Care • Jul 26, 2026

Chelsea was wonderful with Abby! Before her stay, we met with Chelsea and her dogs to make sure everyone got along. Chelsea was very responsive and kept us updated with photos, so we knew she was happy and doing well. We felt comfortable leaving Abby with Chelsea and would book her again!

Chelsea is super! Caring and kind, she is responsible and happy to manage the quirks of an elderly dog. She shared the cutest photos and I knew our dog was in good hands. Highly recommend Chelsea!

I’m very happy with Chelsea for boarding my dog. I feel comfortable that my dog is safe and well cared for when I am away.

Chelsea boarded our dog (a 50lb 4 year-old goldendoodle) for two weeks and we would gladly have her take care of him again. Communication was great, and she sent photos daily so we could always see that he was doing well. Highly recommended!

Thank you Chelsea for taking great care of Chance. He’s not an easy boarder with his anxiety and medications but he did well at your house under your care. The pictures you sent made us feel a lot better about having to leave him for so many days. Thanks again.

Schedule

****Summer Schedule**** I am home full time June 25-September 1. My day job has me out of the house from 7am to 4pm. I do not currently provide constant 24-hour care. Pets must be house trained.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 2 dogs, 2 cats
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 4-8 hours

Safety, trust & environment

I treat every animal as my own. We have a fenced yard but rarely leave our dog outside unsupervised. I often bring my dogs to visit with friends and family, so if your pup is friendly and well behaved they may come along for a ride.

Pets

A typical day

We spend a LOT of time outside in the yard! The dogs love to romp around and play fetch together. We live in a very walkable neighborhood and like to take walks in to town or go for a hike in a nearby park.

No breed preferences, just need to know of any quirks the dog has and if they are friendly with other humans/dogs. My dog can be a little dog selective (especially with larger, high energy dogs) so a meet and greet is necessary for any overnights at my house.
