I recently returned to North Carolina and I'm in the process of looking for full-time positions in my field. This process can take quite some time, but allows for a very flexible schedule. I'm available during the week from 8:00 - 7:00pm - late evenings upon special request; same goes for the weekend.

I want your animal to see me as a companion -- a human they enthusiastically greet when we spend time together! Your pet will be treated with the same doting affection I lavish on my own pup. If I'm taking your dog on a walk, I'll make sure they're exercised, but also, they'll get plenty of time to interact with their surroundings and enjoy the sunshine. If I'm dropping in for a "play date," this would look like whatever your dog enjoys the most -- maybe tug-of-war, hide-and-seek, fetch, or puzzle games (every dog is different!). Regardless of the service, your pet will get lots of attention and belly rubs (if that's their thing). Ultimately, I will seek guidance from you, the owner, and follow your lead on how best to spend time with your pet!
Informations que Chelsea L. aimerait connaître au sujet de votre animal domestique
During our meet-and-greet, I'll ask lots of questions to get to know your pet, but here's a list of some of the information I'll need: is your pet socialized? Friendly towards all dogs or only certain breeds/sizes? Are they friendly around strangers? Do they have any reactive or unique behaviors I should be aware of? Any fears to keep in mind (my pup is afraid of flags)? Any recent injuries or health issues that I need to know about? Likes and dislikes? Favorite toy? Allergies or diet restrictions? Are treats allowed?
Une journée type
My interaction with your pet will depend on their unique personality. That said, I'm down for energetic outdoor romps to help exercise a high-energy dog or leisurely strolls for those pups more interested in sniffs and sunshine. Drop-in visits could include stimulating games, snuggles, backyard water play (for those hot summer days), or any other activity your pet enjoys. We'll work together to come up with a personalized plan for you pet so they get the most out of their dog walk or drop-in visit.

Expérience en matière de services dédiés aux animaux de compagnie
My first word was "cat" because of my attachment to our family feline, Miss Mystery. This first utterance foretold a life-long love of animals though dogs would become the norm in my household. Throughout high school, I volunteered at the local Humane Society and one of my first full-time jobs was a Dog Rescue Attendant. At twenty, I adopted my first dog (outside of family animals, of course) -- a dachshund mix named Leelu -- and she was my steadfast companion for 14 years. I now have a 3 yr. old lab-Australian Shepard mix - Gidget. Both of my girls have taught me invaluable lessons about dog care; specifically, I've learned a lot about different breed personalities and needs, puppy training and enrichment, senior dog care, and limited mobility dog care. I aspire to be the best dog mom possible and I will bring that same energy and commitment to working with your pet.

Chelsea is an incredible dog-mom and anyone would be lucky to have her as their dog sitter or walker. I’ve known her since 2017 and can attest to the fact that she is utterly devoted to the health and happiness of her own dog, Gidget. In fact, her doggie daycare uses Gidget as the friendly greeter for new pups upon first arriving at the daycare. Chelsea is a brilliant and devoted teacher and has the utmost patience for her students as well as the pets she cares for. She loves hiking the trails with Gidget and having her meet new friends. Schedule her for a meet and greet with your dog and you’ll see for yourself; she’s a catch!
My pup Holly gets so excited when she knows she’s going to see Chelsea. The minute we hit the door it’s like I don’t exist and it’s all Chels. Holly and Gidget (Chelsea’s pup) get along wonderfully. Gig even helped Holly get over her shyness with other pups. Chelsea is a kind, caring and responsible dog mom and my Holly girl loves her. Dogs know good people and Chels is the best.
