Hi! I’m Chelsea, owner of Paws By Chels. I offer reliable drop-in visits, walks, and personalized boarding with a calm, low-stress environment for your pets. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and even small farm animals like chickens, and I truly treat every animal like family. I specialize in drop-in care for busy owners who want their pets to stay comfortable in their own home while still receiving plenty of attention, exercise, feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and love while you’re away. For boarding, I offer three private suites/rooms to help keep your dog comfortable, relaxed, and stress-free. I am crate-free unless your dog is already crate trained and comfortable using one. My goal is to provide a safe, cozy, home-style environment where pets feel secure and cared for. I understand how important trust and communication are when leaving your pets with someone, so I always provide updates and photos for peace of mind. I pride myself on being dependable, patient, attentive, and responsive. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Chelsea was awesome! She kept me up to date on how my dog was coping since it was her first time. She also sent pictures and a video. Penny had such a good time she didn't want to leave when I went to pick her up! I would definitely use her again.
So thankful to have Chelsea as a sitter! I trust her completely with my dog and know she treated Bleu like her own. She was super thorough during the meet and greet and made sure to cover all the details. I loved getting regular updates with pictures and videos - it gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Couldn’t recommend her more! :)

I make time in the mornings and evenings for walks, feedings, and playtime, and I love building my schedule around making sure pups get the attention they deserve. On weekends, I’m extra flexible and can spend more time outdoors for longer walks, adventures, or just keeping your dog company. Whether it’s sticking to a set routine or adding a little extra play, I make sure caring for pets fits seamlessly into my day.

In my home, pets get a safe, cozy environment where they’re treated like family. I stick to their feeding schedule, provide plenty of potty breaks, and make sure they get playtime, walks, and snuggles. If they’re crated, I keep them comfortable and on their normal routine so they feel at ease. In a client’s home, I always respect your space and your pet’s routine. I make sure food, water, walks, and potty breaks happen right on schedule, and I give them the attention and love they’d get if you were home. I keep things clean, send updates and photos, and make sure your pup feels secure until you return.

I love keeping pets happy and engaged! Depending on their energy level and personality, we might go for walks, play fetch, tug-of-war, or work on fun little training games. For pups that enjoy the outdoors, I love exploring new walking routes or having some backyard playtime. For more laid-back pets, I’m all about cozy cuddle sessions, belly rubs, and keeping them company so they feel loved and relaxed. My goal is to make sure they get the perfect balance of play, exercise, and comfort while you’re away.
