Pet care experience
US Army Veteran, former Emergency Medical Technician and Massage Therapist with a great love for animals. I started dog walking to get exercise and experience with many different breeds. I ended up be very good at providing this service and am so grateful to my clients for making it possible to now provide drop in pet sitting full time to NW Mason County. I am a professional with a reputation for impeccable integrity and you can rest assured that your loved ones are in good hands while you are away. I would love to meet your pets and gain both yours and their trust. I grew up with large breed dogs, including pit bulls, german sherpards, and currently have a german shorthaired pointer, 2 blue healers and a chihuahua. I have raised chickens, cared for goats, pigs, and horses. Recently increasing my skills in horsemenship attending a veteran therapy program called Hope4Heros in Yelm, WA. The greatest experience I have is in behavior and handling of canines though. I am intuitive and can recognize canine behavior and adapt my approach to care based on each animals needs. I always work with kindness and gentleness and prefer using positive reinforcement. Walking, running, wrestling, tug-o-war, and fetch are my favorite forms of cardio. Consistency is important for maintaining a peaceful home and I respect all instructions given.

Reviews

Can’t say how appreciative we are. Chelsea was communicative and great under some difficult circumstances. Highly recommend.

Chelsea is great!! She was available for a last-minute walk, very friendly, and my pup, Khali immediately loved her. Khali came home tired and relaxed. Grateful to find someone we can trust locally. Thanks so much Chelsea!!

Chelsea has been taking care of our pup for several months now and we just love her! She is so reliable and sends us photos and updates on every visit!

I had to travel and stay overnight for work. One cat requires daily medication so Chelsea came to the rescue to keep them happy and healthy. She was faced with three cats who don't socialize much with visitors, and who have a lot of the same colorings, but she was able to interact with two of them and to get them food and toys. I wasn't even in the penalty box for leaving them when I got home.
