I work a job that is incredibly flexible, but it comes with a lot of last minute work. It has down seasons, and I would like to fill that time up. However, even during the busy season, I tend to have free time.

I have a small yard but plenty of neighborhood to explore. My two dogs are very friendly, and the younger one especially likes other animals. I will often set alarms on my phone to make sure pets get frequent time outside, and I love to cuddle with furry, and non furry, babies. I know most cats’ favorite TV show, and have made many a dog kick its leg while petting just the right spot. I keep an extra water bowl around in case play time outside goes on for a while. Gotta keep them hydrated! My animals sleep in the bedroom, so I do have one medium sized crate available at night. And though it kills me to always be buying lint rollers, I do allow animals on the furniture. They deserve comfort too. However, I am willing to accommodate any rules or regulations you have for your own pets to the best of my ability. I live with my partner as well, who is always available to love on animals. He smokes, but never inside.

Please offer any and all information you feel is pertinent to your dog’s wellbeing and our ability to communicate with each other most efficiently. If they have special needs or care instructions, if they have behaviors that trigger them, if they respond really well to certain items or calls, etc. I have worked with large and aggressive animals, but every animal requires different care for their needs to be best met. I am not a very big person, physically, so I would greatly prefer working only with huge dogs who could easily hurt me if they’re trained well or gentle.

A day of fun with my pets can include anything from cuddling and playing with toys in the house to zoomies with mom and dad in the yard to a long hike in the beautiful woods of Colorado (using the buddy system to stay safe, of course). I use a variety of chew toys, plushies, and objects from nature (sticks, leaves, etc) for the doggies, and cat nip, string toys, or a laser pointer for the kitties. I adjust plans according to what the animals want and need.

I have been around various animals my entire life. I don’t know if they are mind readers or if they can feel how much I care about them, but I generally get their stamp of approval. Animals and I get along, and I’m better off for it! I have even cared for aggressive animals before (and been bitten— another way of speaking). Usually, they only want and need TLC, and I have plenty of it to give. I have two dogs, Menkar and Kipo, and a cat, Kyochi. My cat is an ESA, and they are all my sweeties, even the crazy one (Kipo). They are just three in a long history of animals I have cared for and cherished. I hope I can give some of that love to your animal(s) (who will probably be one of my new best friends)!

Chelsea took amazing care of my two kittens while I was gone for the week. Her thorough notes and many pictures and videos made it much easier to be away from home. My cats are particularly friendly and attention-loving which she was happy to accommodate. You can trust her with your pets!
