Being home throughout most days of the week allows pet care to fit very naturally into our daily routine. Pets receive regular potty breaks, consistent feeding, playtime, and plenty of supervision throughout the day. We have a family home environment, so I only accept pets who are comfortable around children. A structured routine works especially well for pets who thrive on consistency, and only taking one pet at a time allows for focused attention and care.

Safety, trust & environment
In my home, pets are cared for in a structured, family oriented setting where they can feel safe and settled. I aim to follow each pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding times, potty breaks, exercise, and rest. A large fenced yard provides plenty of space for supervised roaming, play, and outdoor time throughout the day. For safety, I ask that pets be up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick prevention before boarding or daycare stays. For drop in visits, the focus is on helping pets stay relaxed and cared for in their own familiar space. Each visit includes attention, fresh water, feeding if needed, potty breaks or playtime, and close attention to behavior and overall well being.

Information Chelsea & Fernando V. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for a pet, I like to know about their usual routine, temperament, energy level, and any specific needs or preferences they may have. It’s especially important that pets are friendly, well-mannered, and comfortable around children, since we have a family home environment. I also appreciate knowing about any medical needs, anxiety, or behavioral concerns that may help your pet feel more comfortable while you’re away. For daycare and boarding stays, proof of up to date vaccinations and flea/tick management will be requested, as well as, a meet and greet beforehand to make sure it’s a great fit for everyone.
A typical day
Pets in my care will have plenty of opportunities for play, exploration, and attention throughout the day. We have a large fenced yard for supervised outdoor time and a quiet neighborhood that’s great for walks. There’s also plenty of affection and gentle attention for pets who enjoy being loved on.

Family-Friendly Pet Care
Pet care experience
I’ve cared for animals my whole life, including many years with my own cat through every stage, even into her senior years. I’ve also helped care for dogs for friends and family, focusing on fun and comfort. Though not a current pet owner, I enjoy having animals in the home and aim to provide a safe and loving environment for every pet I care for.
Cat care experience

Chelsea & Fernando also care for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews
Chelsea was wonderful with my Jimmy during my month out of town. She has a big backyard where he could run around and played with Jimmy. Chelsea has shown great responsibility, commitment and love to dog care.
