I am an animal lover to my core and admittedly believe that animals are better than people! I have spent my entire life around animals, from dogs to cats, to bunnies to rats. My main experience is with dogs, sizes ranging from tiny to massive, and ages ranging from pups to elders. As a kid I would look after my friend's and neighbor's pets while they were away. Now, along with caring for my own pets, I have watched others' pets overnight in their homes, performed drop-in visits and walks, and provided care in my home. I previously lived with a dog breeder, so I have some background in tending to pregnant and postpartum dogs, as well as caring for multiple litters of newborn puppies. Although I'm not a formal trainer, I can't even begin to count the number of pups I've house-trained. I am knowledgeable of typical training strategies and commands, as well as common dog allergens and toxins. I have experience with senior dogs, and am also (sadly) familiar with caring for dogs suffering with various ailments (i.e. anxiety, arthritis, degenerative myelopathy, and cancer), and I understand the extra love, attention, and patience they require. I will always make sure to read your pet's body language and do whatever I can to make them as comfortable and happy with my care as possible!
