I'm a patient and attentive animal-lover with many years' experience handling others' pets as well as my own. I've leash-trained my own dog since he was a puppy and am very tuned in to the mood and energy of dogs generally. I've studied dog breeds since adolescence and understand the traits, habits, and needs of different breeds (terrier vs. hounds, working breeds vs. toy, mixed breeds, etc). I also have several years' experience with cats, having 2 of my since they were kittens.

I care for pets by adhering closely to the client's instructions. I return pet items where found and only provide treats if approved by the pet parent. If the pet has any quirks or special needs — habits, triggers, harness wear, etc. — I take note.

I'm a writer and artist, so I can make my schedule flexible around my bookings and whatever pet care may be needed. I am looking for both reoccurring clients and clients with sporadic care needs.
