Availability

I am mostly home all day and night. I may have to drop my boys off at school in the morning. The school is 4 miles from my home. So it would be a quick trip. If your dog is allowed to come with to go on a quick car ride they are more than welcome to. I may have a drop in visit that I will have to go and do but they are typicalky not far from my home and I will let you know if I have one during their stay.

Safety, trust & environment

Like the saying goes, “Treat others how you would like to be treated.” I take pride in respecting people’s homes. I always double or triple check if doors are locked and make sure things are cleaned up. If I or their animal makes a mess, I will clean it thoroughly and properly. I spend as much time with the animals and giving them attention while I’m there. So I tend to stay a little longer than the slotted time. Because I typically fill out my report at the end of the visit. I want the animals to get as much love in as possible each visit. To sum it up, love and respect is my motto.

Information Chelsea C. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any special needs, medications needed, certain spots where they do not like to be touched or sensitive to anything such as perfumes or soaps. If they have a favorite toy or special place the are most comfortable. If they have certain behaviors that I need to watch out for or certain things they do or do not like. If I need to feed at specific times and amount allowed. Basically anything you can think of to make your animal the most comfortable while their family is away. If they like little kids. My 4yr old may come with me if it is on a weekday after 12pm. He is very loving to animals.

A typical day

Whatever their typical day is, I can keep them on their schedule. For boarding or doggy day care: Depending on what they require, I can take them on walks, play at the dog park, play fetch in my fenced back yard, go for car rides, go for a run, or just get lot and lots of loves on the couch. Again, it’s about making them feel comfortable and happy in my home. Drop in visits: Play, play fetch, tug of war, belly rubs, kisses, snuggles, lots of me talking to them as if they are going to answer me back. Some actually do ? (Misti ?) Anything to keep them happy an engaged so they get the most out of the visit.

Every animal needs love 🥰😍

Pet care experience

I grew up on a farm and the farm life has never left my soul. I love animals! I fostered a 60lb puppy from the shelter. It was amazing! I tend to fall in love with animals immediately and I tend to feel for them when they have the sad eyes. 😢 💕 I have 2 dogs of my own and can’t see my life without animals. I tend to find lost animals and usually find their owners. I have cared for horses, cows, dogs, cats, goats, sheep, turtles, guinea pigs, hamsters, chickens and more. I love seeing the animals different personalities and seeing how I can make them comfortable, happy and enjoy their life. I like being there for them in their time of need. It makes my soul smile knowing that they know they are loved.🥰 I am available almost all day & night. I have a ford expedition that fits a size large crate in the back 3rd row of seats (they fold down). I can transport an animal to the vet if needed or even to the groomer. I am pretty flexible and will follow your specific directions as to keep your pet on as much of a routine as they are used to. I have a fenced yard, a large 600ft covered patio. I also have tile and hardwood floors for easy clean up if accidents happen. I have a full wall of windows that look out to the patio/yard where they can look out at the birds on the pond or watch golfers go by. During the end of fall, winter and beginning of spring months the weather is perfect to leave my sliding doors open all day so the animals can come in and out as they please. They will never be bored. I also have a dog park in my community if your animal is friendly with others. If your baby doesn’t prefer to be around other dogs, I can adjust to have my dogs outside while yours is inside. I have other rooms so mine and your animals can have rotations. But I would prefer having all the animals together. But depending on how your animal reacts to a new environment with new animals we can set anything up to make them feel safe, comfortable and loved coming to my house. I also have 3 size crates. Small, medium and large with a divider if needed. I put blanket couch covers on my couch, so they can be on the couch if they are allowed to. I can also take animals for walks if needed. I have a 5 year old corgi and an 11 year old cattle dog. They both are all about playing fetch and cuddles.🥰 We tend to spend a lot of time throwing the ball for my 2 dogs outside. They will play fetch until the end of time if I let them. I try to keep them engaged throughout the day and I absolutely love talking to them and giving them loves. I will also give them a bath and brush them if the enjoy that. I just want them to be and feel loved and feel welcomed in our home. I take lots of pics and send summaries each night of how there day went if they are staying the night with us.

Chelsea and her family welcomed Teddy with open arms! He had a blast and was so tired that he fell asleep in the backseat of the car on the way home – lol! I would highly recommend them to anybody that wants 11 home and loving people to keep their dog!
