I have been a Rover sitter since January 2017. Since beginning with Rover, I've sat for hundreds of pets, many with special needs and each with their very own personality! I've always loved being around animals. Although I grew up around dogs, I also love cats and recently adopted a bonded pair of cat brothers. I got my first pet, a white toy poodle named Muffin, when I was 7 years old. She was warm, loving, playful, and bounding with energy. She could chase a tennis ball for hours and never get tired. Muffin's deepest wish was to finally catch one of those pesky squirrels that ate from the backyard bird feeder. Muffin only weighed 7 pounds, but she was 100% dog. She warmed my childhood and created treasured memories, but she also helped me to learn valuable life lessons about responsibility and friendship. I always do a meet and greet before I book a stay or a drop-in so that you can get to know me and so can your pets. It makes the stay more comfortable for everyone. You can always reach me, day or night while traveling. I currently offer walks, drop-ins, and homestays. I'm a very communicative and active sitter. I send updates with pictures every day. I am very experienced with pets that have special needs. A lot of the pets I sit for are rescues, and many have anxiety, especially when their humans are out of town. Keeping a normal routine is key as well as having a calm, relaxed demeanor. I love a good puppy or kitty snuggle!

I come to you so that your pets are in their regular home environment while you travel, which is more relaxing for them. I also water plants, collect the mail, and do other small household tasks as needed. You have peace of mind knowing your pets and your home are being well looked after.

She communicated any schedule conflicts with us before confirming the booking, was adaptable with new care instructions, was very accommodating with us when our travel plans changed, and even brought in our trash cans for us! Chelsea took amazing care of our two senior pups during our week long vacation. They are both picky eaters and she pulled out all the tricks to keep them fed while we were gone. She is super communicative and responsive. She understands how stressful it can be for pet parents to be away from their fur babies. We will continue to trust her with our dogs.

Chelsea was wonderful. She watched my pack of 4 rescued dogs over the weekend for 3 days and 3 nights. She was patient and gentle with them since the first meeting. She was able to get the trust of my most fearful and prickly one over the weekend. She has a very calm and peaceful energy to which my dogs responded very well to. She is very responsive on emails and sends daily photos and updates. My pack likes to chill and snuggle which is what they did with Chelsea. Also we did not know if we were going to make it back because of the snow and she was ready to extend her stay if needed. I highly recommend Chelsea especially if you have dogs with anxiety and trauma. A big thank you Chelsea.
Chelsea took care of our two cats for the first time recently, and we couldn’t have hoped for a better sitter! The meet and greet went extremely well, especially with our shy cat, who didn’t hide from her at all! While we were away, one of our boys was having accidents outside the litter box. Chelsea cleaned up any messes at each visit and kept us informed of our cat’s behavior to ease any concerns. She was incredibly helpful and understanding, making travel for us less stressful altogether. We couldn’t be more grateful to her! Chelsea always sent updates and photos via the Rover cards after each drop-in, but was also a quick communicator outside of those as well. She even brought in some packages that were delivered while we were away. We couldn’t recommend Chelsea more highly for cat care! Thank you again for taking such great care of our boys!
We found Chelsea with short notice, and she came over to introduce herself very quickly the next day. We were nervous to trust someone new while we left town for 5 days, but she did a phenomenal job! We definitely will use her again!

Schedule
I pet sit in Sterling, Herndon, and Reston. In addition to pet sitting, I currently work remotely in a sales operations role. During a homestay, I try to spend as much time as possible with your pets and keep to their normal routine.
