Seeking fun, new walking companions
I have always had animals, and spent most of my life caring for our family cats and dogs. I grew up with multiple cats and have a deep fondness for their quirkiness and need (or disdain) for affection. I have cared for a few family dogs and two dogs of my own. My first boy, Jack, I had for 13 years before his passing. Due to circumstances prior to adopting him, Jack was extremely reactive towards people. During our time together, we worked on helping him become more trusting of humans, getting out and going on hikes, and getting all the love his little 15 lb self could handle. Since his passing I have adopted my current dog, Stella. A fun greyhound/lab mix, Stella is the opposite of Jack. She loves all people and tolerates most dogs. We spend our days going to the park to see the ducks, taking long walks along the canal and playing with one of many of toys in our home.

I will always follow instructions provided by the pet owner, and ensure that the pet's safety is prioritzed over everything. I will take note of the responses I am getting from the pet to see if it likes/dislikes any activities and make sure it is an enjoyable experience for all.

Chelsea is great. I am no longer anxious about leaving my dog home for a longer than normal period of time. My dog loves Chelsea and it’s obvious that Chelsea is a dog lover. I will continue to use Rover.com to hire Chelsea as needed.
Chelsea was prompt and attentive to my cat babies. I enjoyed the pictures and notes she sent during her visits. I will definitely be using her for our next trip!

Chelsea was great! Very informative about what was going on while I was on my trip and sent me pictures to ease every wonder I had.. She made sure Bella was calm and soothed before leaving her full of anxiety and that I most of all appreciated more than ever because my baby has separation anxiety and so do I ? We will definitely be booking Chelsea again safe to say she’s got new regulars coming her way so watch out people ?
Chelsea is one of the few people I trust with my 3 large dogs (Irish wolfhound, German Shepherd, Lab) when I leave town. She is always mindful of the wolfhound's incredibly shy and anxious temperament and comfortable with my Shepherd's occasionally intimidating sounds. She's a wonderful and kind person, especially with our four legged friends!

Schedule
I work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule. I would be able to establish a schedule that works best for my current work, all while getting to know and walk new friends.
