I have been taking care of dogs since I was very young, having grew up with golden retrievers. As I got older, neighbors and family friends would trust me with their pups. Now, I am known as the primary canine caretaker among all my friends with dogs of their own. I have taken care of dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and ages. I have experience with puppies (8 weeks or older), as well as senior pups. I have stayed with pets overnight, looking after them for multiple days or weeks, and doing anything from walking, feeding, bathing, cleaning up after them, taking them to vet/grooming appointments, and taking them to dog parks.

I work from home full time, with the availability for flexible work scheduling. My preference would be to help with mid day (lunch time) or late afternoon walks. I can also watch anytime on the weekends.
Information Chelsea B. would like to know about your pet
If I am taking your dog outside the house I need to know a few things to make sure we can have a fun and safe outing: 1. how they are around other dogs- are they super friendly, timid, aggressive, etc. when a dog walks by? 2. how they are around people- are they good with kids? do they get aggressive around certain types of people? do they tend to jump on people when they say hi? 3. if they have had any negative encounters while out before- I don't want to recreate any negative experiences so please let me know who/what/where of what happened so I can make sure your pup stays safe!
A typical day
I love going on walks with pups and taking them to areas like Green Lake, Discovery, and Carkeek park, and other trails around the Seattle area. I am also comfortable taking them to dog parks if they have good re-call and are good with other dogs. If there is a special place you like to walk/take your dog- Let me know so I can take them there!

Pet care experience
**I now have a golden retriever pup (2 years old) so I will need to be able to bring her along to any overnight housesitting requests. She does not come along to drop in visits or dog walking requests unless your ask me to. She is potty trained, voice trained, use to traveling and staying in new places, and gets along very well with other dogs (has great boundaries and knows how to give dogs space when they don’t want to play). I will follow the rules you have for your dog while my dog is at your place (ie. Not allowed on furniture, not allowed in certain rooms/areas, etc).**

This is our third time with Rover and we finally found someone who is reliable, succinct and a pleasure to work with. We heard from her every day and got pics and videos of the dogs playing together. The house was in great condition, and we had no concerns when we got back. The yard was picked up from the dogs and she got the house in shape for our return. Just wonderful! We will certainly be utilizing her services again!

Slugworth was so happy to walk with Chelsea! Thank you for the excellent care with our sometimes bratty baby! Hope to see you again!
Chelsea is GREAT! Highly recommended!
Chelsea is so great. Super responsive and reliable. We feel totally at ease whenever she is looking after our 2 dogs. Cannot recommend enough. Thanks Chelsea.
