Availability
I work from home twice a week and would be available for daycare and boarding during those days and weekends. I have a flexible schedule so there is still some availability on other week days if it suits the dog's needs

Safety is my number one priority, baby gates, no indoor plants, no harsh chemicals in/around dogs space, meds/toxic foods are locked away. Crates for safety and separation, no high value chews or toys such as bones left out. Dogs will also be fed in separate spaces to prevent food related guarding. One on one time and training will be given to each dog. I put a lot of time into training and playing with my dog and any pet in my care will be given the same care

A typical day
Walks with my pup consist of some training, along with play time and lots of time for her to sniff and explore. This way, I ensure that she is mentally as well as physically tired. I love involving breed specific games, like scent games for hounds so they are fulfilled.

Pet care experience
I have always loved dogs and have a 5 yr old rescue dog who I initially fostered. I volunteer with a local rescue and am very well educated on dog body language, training, reactivity and fulfillment. I have also worked with a professional dog trainer so I'm happy to maintain consistency in your training journey. On walks I like to focus on the dog being able to sniff and explore their environment. I believe that walks are for the dog so I let them dictate most of it as long as its safe. I also like to take moments to build your dog's confidence through play and urban agility. If there is any training you would like me to keep up on walks such as loose leash walking, I will gladly do so.

Chelsea is a very caring, patient, and very knowledgeable about animals and their needs(and if she doesn't know she will go out of her way to learn).She treats every animal with love and respect, as if they are her own children. I have 2 rescue cats, that are very shy and run away even from me and she's watched them for me and when I come back they were sitting with her purring and happy. She is kind and gentle, as well as fun and always assures the needs of your furry friend is met. She's the best !
Chelsea is a very caring and responsible dog owner. She has been very open to all our fosters and is always ready to help. She is very patient with her own dog -Skye , who is absolutely adorable and is always learning new tricks to train Skye. Always armed with treats and doggie bags, Chelsea is definitely a person you can trust with your fur baby.
