I will be very attentive to your pets needs, whether they are active or low key, friendly or shy. I have experience caring for animals with both separation anxiety and territorial behaviors. I will provide your pets with the care and respect they deserve.
Information Chelsea A. would like to know about your pet
I’d like to know any chronic illnesses, diseases, special needs, medications, restrictions, personality quirks, or behaviors your pet has. What commands and cues does your pet respond to? How is your pet with new people? How does your pet act around others when you aren’t there?
A typical day
I will tailor my care to match your pets' energy and comfort levels. I will ensure I stick to their normal routine to the best of my ability, providing the utmost level of care while you're away. A typical day with a cat will include properly feeding and refilling water bowls/fountains, scooping and tidying the litterbox area, administering any medications if necessary, grooming as needed, and socialization at the discretion of the cat, of course. A typical day with a dog will include feeding and refilling water bowls, a walk/bathroom break, administering any medications if necessary, grooming as needed, and playtime to match the pups' energy level and personality. I will not visit any dog parks.

A paws-itive pet experience!
Pet care experience
I’ve loved animals my whole life and Rover gives me the chance to spend more time caring for them. I grew up with dogs and am now a proud cat parent to two cats. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m comfortable caring for pets at all life stages, from kittens and puppies through seniors. I have experience administering inhalers and oral, transdermal, and topical medications for cats and dogs, including direct pilling, pill pockets, and mixing medication with food. I’ve cared for pets with chronic and complex conditions including FIV, FeLV, kidney disease, arthritis, and hyperthyroidism. I am confident managing multi-cat introductions and dynamics. I am familiar with programmable feeders as well as both robotic and traditional litter boxes. I am comfortable using different leashes and harnesses, including gentle leaders. I’m currently insured as a sitter through Pet Care Insurance (PCI).
Reviews
I think Chelsea has taken wonderful care of my two cats. She sent me such detailed updates about how they were doing and reacting to her, i really appreciated that so much! I would be very happy if she would be willing to watch them again in the future

Chelsea went above and beyond to help care for my cat when I was away this weekend. She was so kind and flexible throughout several last-minute changes in my cat's care needs and travel delays. I arrived home to a happy kitty and it was such a relief to know she was getting great care while I was away. I would highly recommend working with Chelsea, and I definitely plan to do so again!

Chelsea was an amazing sitter for my cat! She is very communicative and makes sure your pet is very well taken care of. It’s clear that Chelsea truly loves animals and I felt totally at ease traveling knowing she was there to check in. I will absolutely be asking Chelsea to watch my cat again and would recommend her to a friend! Thank you Chelsea!

Chelsea is the best!
