Walks are safe and sniffy with a front-clip harness preferred, traffic-aware routes, weather checks, paw wipes after, and no forced dog-dog greetings. I’m comfortable giving meds: pills, liquids, ear/eye drops, or transdermal gel—and I note what was given and when. In multi-pet homes, I use staggered feeding, door discipline, and clear dog-cat boundaries so everyone stays relaxed. We’ll start with a quick meet & greet to learn routines, triggers, and your vet/emergency contacts. You’ll get timely messages and photos every visit. If something seems off, I contact you (or your emergency contact) first and, if needed, head to your vet or the nearest 24-hour clinic. For fun, I mix in sniffaris, puzzle games, snuffle mats, scent-box searches, lick mats or chews, trick training, low impact flirt pole, and hide-and-seek treat hunts. For cats I use feather or laser sessions (ending with a “catch” toy), puzzle treats, catnip or silvervine, cardboard forts, and gentle grooming.
