Loving little cat sanctuary
Hi! I’m Chaya 👋🏻 I live in Brooklyn in the Crown Heights area. I had dogs for many years, but recently-ish started fostering cats and am officially a cat person now too :) Last year, I fostered many cats through the Humane Society - from kittens who needed socialization to adult cats who needed medical recovery. Now, I have one with me that I rescued (he was too traumatized to get adopted at the time). I see all animals as individual souls, and i care about the wellbeing of them all. I instinctively always ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved (and have always gravitated to the ones that need a little extra of that!) The rescue cat I have with me is an absolute sweetheart and he’s been great with all other foster kitties I’ve had. I’d love to get to know your furry friend - and I know how important it is to know they are well cared for! Chaya is one of the best dog walkers we’ve ever had! Super communicative, sends great pictures and our pup (who doesn’t necessarily love everyone) loves her.
Chaya was absolutely amazing. From day one she was incredibly thoughtful, communicative, and caring with our two cats, Arla and Leo. She sent us regular updates and photos, asked questions whenever she wasn't 100% sure about something (from plants to treats), and genuinely cared about making sure everything was done exactly how we would have done it. It was so reassuring to see how quickly both of our cats warmed up to her—especially Leo, who is usually much more reserved. She spent time playing with them, gave them lots of attention, and kept us updated on their personalities and routines throughout our trip. She also went above and beyond by checking for packages, keeping an eye on the apartment, and making sure our plants were taken care of. You can tell she truly loves animals and treats them like they're her own. We came home to two happy, relaxed cats, and we couldn't have asked for a better sitter. We would recommend Chaya without hesitation and will absolutely book her again. Thank you so much, Chaya! ❤️🐈
Chaya is sweet and nice . she really prioritize my cat's well-being . she communicates well and she updated how my cat doing . I do 100% recommends !
Chaya was a great host, picking up and dropping off Takkun as well as sending periodic updates made me feel very comfortable being away. I would 100% recommend her!
The absolute best with dogs! I’ve known chaya for years, she has watched my dogs often. And I can honestly say she has the biggest heart when it comes to animals. She’s amazing with dogs- so playful, loving, and patient. You can always count on her to be on time, super responsible, and to treat your pup like her own. Every dog instantly loves her! If you’re looking for someone who will give your furry friend all the love and care they deserve, chaya is truly the one to trust. 🐶💛
