Canine at heart!
Your dog is your best friend, and I know that. They deserve only the best when you are away - more than just walks and feeding, but loving attention and care. I will go above and beyond to make sure that your best bud is just as happy when you're away as when you're home! (at least, almost as happy!) I grew up in a family with three dogs and started my own neighborhood dog care "business" as a kid, so I found a connection with dogs as kindred spirits at an early age. I have plenty of experience with all types of breeds and personalities. I've cared for stubborn dachshunds, friendly golden retrievers, beach-loving aussie shepherds, and curious frenchies, to name a few. I am a responsible, employed adult who just loves dogs. I can offer nighttime, overnight, and weekend help for you furry friend. With a flexible work schedule, I can also do check-ins and walks, depending on the situation. Unfortunately I cannot board at my home, but I am available to stay in your home where your pet is most comfortable! I don't have a dog of my own right now because I’m waiting for the right time. For now, I'd love to hang out with yours!

When I stay with a client’s pet at their home, I take that responsibility seriously. Your pet is my #1 priority, and I ensure that any and all house needs are taken care of. Your home will be cleaner when you come home than when you left, and I am happy to water plants, receive mail, prep for trash day - any little thing you need while away. I cannot board at my apartment, unfortunately.

Chase took great care of our two dogs and our cat at our place while we were away on vacation. Our dogs are weary of strangers, but he really took the time to get to know them. It was a last minute booking, but he went out of his way in still making the time to meet and get to know our dogs and us in spite of our busy schedules. He had a very positive energy and a calm presence, which made us feel good that we were leaving them in good hands. While we were away, he kept our place clean and tidy. He respected our sensitive dogs’ boundaries and space, while still ensuring they were well-fed and taken care of. We appreciated the picture updates from him as well! We’re so thankful for Chase and would recommend him to anyone!
Chase was great and I can't recommend him enough. He did a meet and greet and a solo walk with our pup before watching him for 14 days. He is great with the bigger dogs and just wants your pup to have the best time. Beach time every day and he is also a great photographer. Chase checked in and sent pictures, I wasn't worried about Holden once, we knew he was in great hands and getting all the cuddles.
Chase is an enthusiastic, responsible dog sitter. Our dog just loves him ! Chase left the house so clean and picked up. We will definitely use him again!
We love Chase! He is so on top of everything and the kiddos all get such great care. It means so much to us to be able to leave for almost two weeks and feel comfortable and confident that they were all well taken care of and happy. Bonus that Benny gets to go run at the park and beach while he’s here!
We were in Santa Barbara for a dinner party and needed a sitter for Jerry. The request was last minute but Chase made it so easy and effortless Jerry loves Chase immediately and was totally comfortable staying at the hotel room with Chase. We could not be happier with Chase and we’ll certainly rebook Chase next time we’re in Santa Barbara!
Our pups Elijah & Reggie are not so welcoming to strangers but Chase found tickets and ways to calm them down so they could all hang while we were gone. It was the perfect match

Schedule
I work full time, but on a flexible and hybrid schedule. I can do whatever is best for your pet - I can work from home, take midday activity breaks, or even bring them into work for extra pets from friendly coworkers if they have the right temperament.
