Information Chase A. would like to know about your pet
I prefer smaller dogs Now that I’m older, and am able to handle medium size dogs up to 60 pounds. I currently have a small and medium dog of my own. However, I'm also quite athletic for my age, so have far more energy and strength to provide care than expected
A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs for walks, giving them lots of pets, playing with them as appropriate, and letting them take all the naps they want.

Pets Should Be Spoiled!
Pet care experience
I have over 40 years experience caring for dogs (most of my life), from young to old, big to small, in all stages of health, and various temperaments. I believe dogs are an integral part of the family, and if you're not going to spoil your pets, you shouldn't have one. Dogs are perpetual 3 year olds, so don't expect them to be perfect, expect them to be dogs, wonderful, incredible dogs! Dogs love attention, to play, and to please. I will provide hours of loving care, and live across from a fantastic park, so there will be many opportunities to go for walks and enjoy the outdoors with adult supervision. I specialize in shy and timid dogs, as well as rescues that require patience and love. Dogs deserve the time they need to have their trust earned, and I've found if they're given this respect, they warm up to humans much faster than they would otherwise. Oh, and I actually go by my middle name: Anthony
Reviews

Sorry so late for the review. CHASE was really awesome he did a great job Daisy was very healthy when I got her back probably healthier than when I brought her because he gave her the appropriate amount of food and no extra people food or treats and she was very timid when I got her from the pound a year ago and he did a really good job getting her to warm up and I saw her tail up in the picture much faster than expected he has a lot of experience with dogs and she happened to have a back injury that needed care for the day before I left and he was able to provide her the medication and to keep her from jumping and going up and down stairs so when I got back she was fully recovered

Anthony was an awesome sitter for our dog! This was the first time we left Winston with someone who wasn't family. Anthony was very accommodating and flexible with our schedule, and he shared updates and pictures with us while we were out of town. Much appreciated!
I've know Chase for over 10 years and I have always had a dog. Most recently I rescued a Boston who does NOT react well to men. That changed when he met Chase. With the exception of my father and boyfriend, my dog has never reacted well to men due to being abused extensively by the owner I rescued him from. The first time I introduced Brody to Chase was the first time Brody willing ran into the arms of someone other than my dad or boyfriend. This tells me a lot about Chase, more than I already knew, that he is a loving and nurturing, so it made the decision easy for me about who to leave my dogs with during my transition while moving to Vancouver, BC. Chase graciously took care of my 2 boston terriers while I was getting settled in Canada and was amazing when I would come down for the weekends when I could to see them before bringing them up to Canada with me. Anytime I needed a last minute sitter, Chase was available and always graciously willing to help out when he could. My dogs tend to love other dogs more than people, but the fact that they, Brody especially, loved spending as much time with Chase as they could just reinforces to me what a great sitter he is. Brody will sometimes get the worst upset stomach and Chase was great about making sure he got his antacid medicine, and when my older Bosten, Laela (9) needed her medication for her knee pain, Chase was great at administering it. I would highly recommend Chase to anyone who's pup needs some extra TLC for day, night, or even few hours. I don't trust many people with my pups, but Chase is someone I'd wholeheartedly leave them with, having peace of mind that they will be well taken care of while I'm not with them.
For the past 2 and a half years, I have been privileged to have such a wonderful caretaker for my elderly dog BOO. I stumbled upon Chase through a recommendation of a friend. I travel a ton as an interior designer with clients nationwide. BOO was in his later years and he was not as flexible and adventurous as he had been and so I needed to find someone I trusted and would go above and beyond for his care. It was honestly harder for me probably than BOO to be apart, especially towards the very end. Chase was AMAZING and BOO adored him and I had the comfort of knowing that he was in great hands with excellent care when I traveled. Towards the last few month of BOO's 15-year life blessing, Chase was a major part of his care when I could not be there because of work and never would I have to worry. BOO passed away this February of 2016 and Chase was as heartbroken as I was. I strongly recommend Chase as an honest, caring, and integrity based human with a talent for all of our furry loved-ones. I know when I finally do decide to open my home and heart to another dog, Chase will be the first one I call when I need a day, overnight or extended caring services.
