I encourage a thorough conversation prior to booking so that requirements and expectations are understood and agreed upon. I work both in and out of the home, have a significant other, and enjoy social activities. I am also an incredibly responsible adult and make sure all thumbless sentient beings are taken care of prior to activities.

I have a fenced in yard but it is not the largest and mostly occupied by an obnoxious porch (to be removed this summer!) so I usually take the dogs for walks around the neighborhood. I am overly paranoid about escape artists so no one is left alone outside (ever).

A typical day
The neighborhood is dog walking friendly - so many walks and sniffs to be had! I also send a small, daily update accompanied by an adorable pic ☺️

Pet care experience
I love animals of all kinds but have been primarily been around dogs and cats since I was a wee baby. I grew up with a golden retriever (and so many other breeds) and have experienced several breeds since then. My Old Man Dog (a 10 year old border collie/husky) recently crossed the rainbow bridge but I also have a highly energetic / anxious American staffie (~ 4 years) and a 1.5 year old GSD mix. I welcome dogs of all breeds 💙 My dad used to foster golden retrievers and I used to foster dogs (and sometimes kittens and adult cats) of all ages and breeds when I lived in Annapolis, MD and miss being surrounded by animals (and greenery but I’m working on that) so I signed up with Rover in order to help others while also fulfilling my love being around animals. I’m rambling at this point but I’m happy to provide whatever your animals may need! ****Please note**** 1.) Messages will be automatically archived within 72 hours if I do not receive a response. 2.) Rover has an extended stay & holiday policy - please note my current rate before booking! I understand financial situations exist and COVID has not been kind so I can waive the fee to a certain extent - I highly encourage inquiry beforehand 😊 3.) I generally do not provide overnight services for cat care. Extenuating circumstances include: tiny kittens, new mamas, or medical requirements. They will still receive all the love and TLC ☺️ 4.) If your cameras have mics I will have to work elsewhere. Potty and meal time will not be impacted 🙂 5.) I do reserve the right to come and go as needed. I will make sure all the furry friends are tended to beforehand and the house is locked up so please understand that I will not be in your house 24/7. 6.) Please understand that I do not respond to texts or phone calls after 9 PM or before 8 AM - I try to do a screen detox before retiring for the evening. If I am working I will respond as soon as I am free! Thank you for your understanding!

Charm took amazing care of our fur babies! My dog, Dottie, is anxious around new people, and Charm knew exactly how to handle her! She gave so much affection to her and our kitty, and she kept me, an anxious dog mom, updated so I knew exactly what was going on. We had a little mishap with the key, and she was totally accommodating 🙏🏻 10/10 recommend!
