Hello. I have extensive experience with a variety of animals. As a child I rescued stray cats, dogs, and different wildlife. I've had cats, dogs, turtles, rabbits, domesticated rats...literally everything. I currently have 4 rescued ducks, 2 rescued turtles, turkeys and 4 baby tortoises (inside). I have a fenced in yard and numerous references. I do have 4 small kids. I work from home. If a pet is skittish around children, I keep them in my room so there is calmness. I also have a completely seperate room that can be used if they prefer even less human contact. ***PLEASE send a collar and leash when boarding a dog

I needed to board my cat, Simba, and did not want to use my regular pet boarding facility. I usually board him there; however, this time I did not want him in a caged environment. I found Charmaine through Rover, and I am glad I did. I was a little apprehensive at first, but after speaking with her and seeing how attentive she was to Simba’s needs, I felt much more comfortable. Simba is blind and requires extra care, but Charmaine took excellent care of him. She allowed him to roam freely in her home, making him feel comfortable and at ease. Throughout his stay, Charmaine provided regular updates, including pictures and videos, which gave me peace of mind. She not only met Simba’s needs but went above and beyond to ensure he was happy and well cared for. If anyone is looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter, I highly recommend Charmaine. My experience with her was outstanding, and I would not hesitate to use her services again.

Charmaine is reliable, and loves to care for pets. She is wonderful with all pets and has a motherly spirit-she even has several of her own. She has taken in several pets to foster, and enjoys nursing them back to health. I cant recommend her enough.

Schedule
I work from home so your pup would have constant attention as they'd be hanging out with me. I do have a fenced in backyard (it has my outdoor animals it in). If the pup isnt good around farm animal, potty breaks can be on a leash in my front yard

I have a fenced in backyard. I am okay with a dog that sleeps in a cage overnight...or not. There's definitely flexibility there if the dog isnt destructive. I will ensure the pup is comfortable and entertained.
A typical day
I work from home. I have outside farm animals. I take frequent breaks to go outside (almost hourly) so your pup would get a lot of outside time if they want it. I also take dogs with me on car rides. I also do give dog friendly human food as treats so please let me know of you only want them to eat the food you provide.
