Hi! I’m Charlye! I’m a lifelong dog owner/lover with a special place in my heart for senior dogs and those with medical or mobility needs. I also love small animals and reptiles! With years of experience, including administering medication and supporting disabled pups, I offer patient, compassionate care that meets each dog where they are, whether that’s playtime in the yard or cozy naps on the couch with lots of scratches and love. Your dog will be treated like family in a calm, safe environment where they feel at home. I understand how hard it can be to leave your pet, especially if they have special needs, so I provide attentive, loving care and regular updates to give you peace of mind. Whether it’s a short visit or an extended stay, your dog will be in gentle, capable hands, cared for just as I would care for my own. In my own experience, I have cared for my own senior dogs, one to 18 years of age, making sure her life was comfortable and full of love to the very end. I have seen dogs through all stages of life, from puppies to slow moving grey faced nap buddies. I’m here for it all and love every stage of it.

Charlye was the absolute best sitter we could have ever asked for. We will 100% be using her again the next time we need care for our pup. She watched our sweet senior gal, Roxy, in her home for a full week while we were on vacation and truly treated her like one of her own. We received multiple pictures and updates every single day, which gave us so much peace of mind. Roxy was spoiled with toys, endless love from Charlye and her kids, and plenty of couch time - basically living her best life. You name it, Roxy had it. I even joked with my boyfriend when Charlye dropped her off that Roxy had so much fun she almost forgot about us. We’re beyond grateful for the love and care Charlye gave our girl and couldn’t recommend her more highly.
Yoshii loves spending time with Charlye and her family! She is so thoughtful and loves Yoshii as if he were her own pup. Nothing but good experiences each time she watching him. She communicates and sends pics & updates the entire time.
Charlye was everything! As a first time Rover user, she made my experience memorable. She communicated with me during the entire stay and sent many photos & videos of Yoshii. He adored her and her family. It didn’t feel like he was with a stranger, but someone I already knew! Thank you for working me and loving Yoshii. Will definitely book with her again!!

Schedule
I work a routine schedule, in the office from 8-5, but close enough where if mid day walks are needed I can accommodate! Our weekends are slow and spent mostly at home, so our house is the perfect vacation spot for pups whose humans are out of town.

Safety, trust & environment
I live on a local trail system that makes for great walks and monitored, leashed, outdoor time. I live in a single family home with no other dogs as our senior dog passed away recently. I have the ability to separate animals into different areas of the home, to crate, to free roam, or make extra space on the couch or bed. Any dog in my home is an extension of our family and they are accommodated based on their specific needs and preferences. I love snapping photos and sending updates to give parents and humans peace of mind.
A typical day
We love to meet dogs where they’re at! If they love the dog park, we will go out the dog park. If they prefer a night on the couch or a can do that too! My family are doggy vacation experts.
