Active walks, reliable care and waggy tails!
Growing up surrounded by a menagerie of pets: dogs, cats, rabbits, parrots and a lizard, I have been caring for animals for over 30 years and feel that a home isn't really a home without a furry companion. Owning various pets over the years has results in me being confident in animal care and behaviour. I lead an active life and have run with, climbed mountains and trained from a puppy our working cocker spaniel, who even in old age was mistaken for a puppy! Most recently, I have supported the rehabilitation of a stray Lurcher which came into our care. Teaching her how to live in a home and learn commands and what a toy was, has been extremely rewarding. If your pet has boundless energy or is timid, old or young, this is not a problem and I can easily adapt and prioritise your pet's individual needs. There are woods and many walks in my local area and I am also close to secure dog parks if this forms part of your pets routine. Muddy boots and paws welcome! Maki had a lovely time with Charlotte! A lot of play and cuddles! Charlotte took great care of Maki and was lovely to message during maki’s stay.
Charlotte was wonderful with our little cat Peach. She took the time to sit with her in her favourite spots in the sun and made sure to give her quality playtime over the 4 day period she spent at our home. We really appreciated the extra care and attention and will be rebooking without a doubt. :)
It was an absolute delight to meet and get to know Charlotte and we felt utterly safe leaving our (somewhat challenging) dog and cat, home, garden, plants, etc in her capable hands. We left detailed notes and Charlotte was incredibly conscientious and diligent in carrying them out to the letter. Her messages and communications while we were away were lovely to receive and everything was left immaculately clean and cared for on our return. I think both pets will miss her immensely! Thank you, Charlotte, from all of us.
Very easy to arrange the visit. Charlotte arrived at the pre-arranged time for a drop-in visit for my dog, who seemed very happy to see her regular dog-sitter again! Very trustworthy in the house and followed instructions about midday treats and which rooms to let my dog settle in when she left. Highly recommend for drop-ins and overnight care, I have used Charlotte multiple times now and my dog adores her!
Charlotte was wonderful with my little guy. He is an anxious dog and Charlotte’s kind and calm demeanour really helped him settle. I would not hesitate to use Charlotte again. Thank you Charlotte 😊
So happy to have found Charlotte. Without doubt, a dog lover she took fantastic care of our dog and kept us informed with photos while he was with her. She took him on lovely walks, played with him and made space in her home for him to relax and have cuddles. He came back having had a very lovely doggy holiday. Thank you so much!

Programa
Perfect for all your school holiday, evening and weekend needs! I currently work full-time as a teacher. This allows me to have weekends totally free 24/7. I can be available from 3:30pm weekdays and possibly lunchtimes if you live locally to my work. I am able to take at short notice so please just ask. During the school holiday ( Christmas, Easter, Summer and half terms) I am available 24/7

I recommend a meet and great prior to the booking to discuss the individual needs of your pet. It would be great to know commands and favourite toys etc so I can fully engage with your dog and they can be at ease. On walks, I will always keep your dog on a lead and avoid other dogs unless you are able to inform me of any doggy friends your pet has. Due to my current employment I am DBS checked and offer a trusted and reliable service.

I will take your dog on a walk suitable for its needs in all weathers; fields, woods, pavements, doggy parks - whatever your dog is comfortable with. If sitting with your dog all day, I will offer plenty of toilet breaks and time to bond through its favourite games. Don't worry, I am also aware of how much rest and sleep a dog needs so will ensure that there is downtime too. Rest assured your dog will receive the perfect amount of stimulation and fuss to ensure they have the best time while you are away.
