Hi, I’m Charlotte! I first discovered Rover when I got my miniature dachshund (Reggie) in December. He’s now 7½ months old, and through Rover we’ve found two fantastic sitters who have cared for him during daycare stays and overnight visits when I travel. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust and feel completely comfortable leaving your dog with. Having experienced that peace of mind first-hand, I’d love to provide the same care and reassurance to other owners. Reggie is a friendly miniature dachshund who enjoys spending time with other dogs. We regularly socialise with friends’ and family’s dogs, and he’s especially fond of his best friend, Betsy the French Bulldog! As he is used to dog company, he’s always happy to welcome well-mannered dogs into our home. I work from home full-time with a flexible schedule, which means visiting dogs will have plenty of supervision, regular toilet breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of attention throughout the day. My home also has a secure enclosed garden for safe outdoor time. I understand that every dog is different, so I’m happy to arrange a meet-and-greet walk beforehand to discuss your dog’s routine, personality, and any specific requirements. I’ll always do my best to keep their routine consistent and provide regular updates, photos, and messages while they’re in my care. My experience comes from a lifetime of being around dogs. I grew up with a Chocolate Labrador called Chester and later a West Highland Terrier called Casper. Now, Reggie is my constant companion and comes with me everywhere!
