Safety, trust & environment

Safety and comfort always come first. My home is calm, secure, and on the ground floor — perfect for pets who like a peaceful space or prefer to avoid stairs. There’s plenty of room for them to relax, with quiet corners to retreat to and a big sofa that’s always open for cuddles! Right outside my front door is a large field that’s perfect for regular walks and playtime. I also have a car, so I can take dogs to beautiful nearby rural spots for longer adventures in nature. I keep routines consistent, give pets plenty of attention, and make sure they always feel safe, settled, and loved — whether they’re staying with me or I’m visiting them in their own home.

Information Charlotte P. would like to know about your pet

It’s really helpful to know about your pet’s personality, routines, and any specific needs before we spend time together. Things like their feeding schedule, favourite walks or toys, and how they get along with other animals all help me make them feel comfortable and cared for. Please also let me know if they have any anxieties, medical needs, or particular behaviours to be aware of — I’m happy to adjust to whatever helps them feel safe, settled, and happy while you’re away.

A typical day

A typical day includes plenty of fresh air, play, and calm companionship. I love starting the day with a play in the big field outside my home, or a trip to a nearby rural spot for a change of scenery and some sniffing adventures. Back at home, there’s time to rest and relax, whether that’s curling up on the sofa for cuddles or finding a quiet corner for a nap. Throughout the day, I keep things fun and reassuring with gentle play, positive attention, and sticking to each pet’s usual routine. Every day ends with content, happy pets who’ve had plenty of exercise, affection, and calm company.

Pet care experience

I’m a caring, outdoorsy sitter who loves long walks and quiet evenings with furry company. I grew up in rural Hampshire with a mischievous Dalmatian, so I’m confident with energetic dogs and understand how to balance fun with calm. My home is peaceful, clutter-free, and has no stairs — perfect for senior dogs or those who prefer an easy space to relax. I’m experienced in keeping to routines and giving dogs the gentle structure they thrive on. Whether it’s puppy playtime, long countryside walks, or relaxed company, I’ll make sure your dog feels right at home.

Lottie looked after our boisterous dog Clive overnight and he clearly had a great time and relaxed. He can be stubborn at times but Lottie managed things with ease and kept us updated to let us know things were good. We will definitely be asking her again in the future.

Had a good experience. Charlotte were reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about Simon. Communication was easy and consistent, and I felt reassured knowing Si was in good hands. I would definitely recommend!

I have known Charlotte for many years, she has looked after her own dog and cats with loving care, plus her friends dogs on a regular basis. She is a fit, active person who loves to walk and has a great rapport with animals, she is very trustworthy and reliable and I would definitely recommend her to look after your pets.
