My priority is to keep your pet’s routine as familiar as possible. I’ll follow your instructions around feeding, walks, medication, sleeping, crates, behaviour and any individual needs or triggers. I’m particularly conscious of how important routine and reassurance can be for nervous or anxious dogs. I have a private fenced garden and a park just a couple of minutes away, as well as some lovely longer local walks. I’m cautious about letting dogs off lead and will only do so with an owner’s explicit agreement and when I’m completely confident it’s safe. I also have access to secure private dog fields nearby, which I love using for dogs who need a safe space to run and play away from unfamiliar dogs. At home I have a dedicated dog bed, toys and bowls ready for visitors, and I enjoy providing enrichment such as sniffing games, hide-and-seek and homemade snuffle activities. Dogs are welcome to stay close to me while I work, and because I can move my laptop around the house, I can adapt to where they feel most comfortable. I’m very happy to provide cuddles and company for pets who want them, while equally respecting those who prefer their own space. I also only board pets from one household at a time, so I can focus on their individual routine and give them a calm, attentive environment.
