Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because my life already revolves around my own dog, Cherry. I work remotely Monday–Friday, so I’m home throughout the day and able to provide consistent care, supervision, and company. My mornings typically start with a walk or a game of ball at Morningside Park, followed by regular walks and check-ins during the day. I also love taking longer walks through Central Park, especially for dogs that need more exercise. Because I’m already in a structured routine with Cherry, adding another dog feels seamless — your pet would be included in our walks, playtime, and downtime, with plenty of attention and care throughout the day. Evenings are relaxed, with another walk and time to unwind, so dogs get a good balance of activity and calm.

Safety, trust & environment

For daycare and boarding : Your dog will stay in my apartment in a safe, clean, and calm environment where they’ll be treated like part of the family. I make sure the space is dog-friendly, with nothing hazardous within reach, and I always keep a close eye on pets while they’re with me. Because I work remotely Monday–Friday, your dog won’t be left alone for long periods and will have plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I stick to your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible — including feeding times, walk schedules, and any specific care instructions — to help them feel comfortable and settled. Dogs will get regular walks and exercise, including outings to Central Park and playtime at Morningside Park if appropriate. Inside, they’ll have a cozy place to relax and are welcome to enjoy the space just like Cherry does. I also provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you can feel confident and reassured while you’re away. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and completely at home.

A typical day

A typical day is a great mix of activity, play, and relaxation. Mornings usually start with a walk or a game of fetch at Morningside Park to burn off some energy and get the day started on a fun note. Throughout the day, since I work remotely, your dog will have plenty of company, regular potty breaks, and shorter walks. I also make sure there’s lots of playtime — my apartment is practically flooded with dog toys, so there’s always something to keep them entertained, whether that’s tug, fetch, or just exploring new toys. For dogs that enjoy longer outings, I love taking walks through Central Park for extra exercise and stimulation. Back at home, there’s time to relax, nap, and just feel comfortable in a calm environment. Evenings include another walk, dinner, and some wind-down time with plenty of attention and cuddles if they enjoy that. I always tailor the day to each dog’s energy level and personality, so whether they’re playful or more laid-back, they’ll have a routine that suits them perfectly.

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Charlotte — a devoted dog lover and proud owner of Cherry, my 4-year-old cockapoo who truly is my whole world. Having Cherry has shown me just how important dogs are in our lives: they bring companionship, routine, joy, and an unmatched sense of loyalty. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone, because I feel exactly the same about mine. Our days are built around being active and outdoors. We love long walks through Central Park, and in the mornings you’ll often find us at Morningside Park playing ball on the baseball field — it’s our favorite way to start the day. Because of this, I’m very comfortable handling energetic dogs as well as those who just want a relaxed stroll and some company. When your dog is with me, they’ll be treated like family — with plenty of attention, exercise, and care tailored to their personality. I know every dog is different, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. I work remotely Monday–Friday, which means I’m home throughout the day and can give your dog consistent attention, care, and company — no long stretches left alone.

Lando absolutely loved his time with Charlotte and Cherry! Maybe a bit too much with Cherry haha! Charlotte was great with giving Lando his medication and being really loving towards him whilst he’s not being quite himself. He’s slept the whole time since I picked him up, so he definitely enjoyed himself! Thank you! X

If there was ever a dog lover it's Charlotte. You only have to see how Charlotte interacts with her own gorgeous cockapoo Cherry to see how much she loves animals. I have an 8 year old cavachon named Dory who is treated like a baby, I knew when leaving her with Charlotte that she would love her just as much as we do. Dory enjoyed endless walks, treats and all her home comforts when staying with Charlotte. Couldn't recommend her enough.
