I have just started a part time freelance job so my calendar is very flexible. I can stick to whatever schedule and routine you already have in place for your doggy.

I will follow whatever instructions you give me regarding feeding, walking, play, and any areas of the home the dog can/can't go. If you don't have at least a 6ft fenced garden, I can take your dog out on lead every hour (or more if needed) for the toilet. I will not walk dogs during heat waves, but I can check in on them and give them some short enriching games with frozen treats to keep them stimulated but cool.
Information Charlotte H. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog has any medications or dietary requirements. I can administer oral medication or eye drops, but I have never injected medication. I have experience walking muzzled dogs and dogs who are clicker trained/use specific commands.

I love to take dogs out for walks and go wherever their nose takes us. I typically don't let dogs off the lead unless we are in an enclosed field, so I usually follow the dog's lead and go where they want to go. I make sure they get lots of sniffs whilst keeping a close eye on them to make sure they don't eat or roll in anything that they shouldn't. I'd also love to know what your dog's favourite game is so that we can have lots of fun playing it :)

Looking for doggies to love as if they are my own
Pet care experience
Hi I'm Lottie (no one calls me Charlotte I'm not sure how to change it!!) and I'm 26 years old. I've had dogs my entire life. My first dog was Indie, a husky-corgi that my family adopted from Blue Cross as a puppy. He had 16 happy years with us, but after he passed I couldn't live without another dog. I then adopted Alaska, a five-year-old retired racing greyhound. She was the first dog that was all mine, and she deserved to be spoilt. She was reactive and taught me a lot about dog ownership. We worked intensively with a behaviourist who trained us with positive reinforcement techniques. Alaska passed from cancer in May 2024 and was just shy of being home for three years. I miss having a dog in the home but am unable to financially provide for one right now, so I would love to take care of other doggies who might need an extra walk, daycare (in my home or yours) or looking after during holidays. I have looked after lots of different sizes and ages of dogs and am comfortable with them all :) All I ask is that if you are a potential new client that I meet you and your dog(s), free of charge, in a neutral location before booking in with me. This is just so we can discuss any of your dogs needs and get to know each other. Your dog will be more at ease if they know me before I walk/pet sit them :)
Reviews

Charlotte took care of our dog, Obi, at our home over a long weekend, and we couldn’t be more pleased with how everything went! From the beginning, she was professional, kind, and clearly had a great connection with dogs—Obi felt comfortable with her right away. She looked after him as if he were her own, keeping to his routine and giving him lots of love and attention. We really appreciated the regular updates and photos, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We came back to a happy, relaxed dog and a spotless home. Charlotte is trustworthy, thoughtful, and genuinely caring—we would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a top-notch sitter

Lottie was lovely and Whiskey had a chance to meet her before the drop in at a meet-n-greet which was quite great! She was caring and kind and we came home to a very happy doggo! 🙂

We couldn’t be happier with Charlotte and the care they provided for Obi. From the very first walk, she was professional, punctual, and clearly experienced with dogs. My pup always came back happy and well-exercised! I really appreciated the updates and pictures during the walk, it gave me peace of mind knowing Obi is in great hands. Charlotte also took the time to understand Obi's specific needs and preferences, which made a big difference. If you’re looking for a reliable and caring dog walker, I highly recommend Charlotte! I’ll definitely be booking again.

Lottie stayed in our house to take care of Sandy while we were away. She was responsive and kept us updated regularly. Sandy was happy to be around her. Lottie left our home clean and well kept.
