I’ve been a professional dog walker for over a year and a lifelong dog lover. Growing up around dogs has given me natural confidence, patience, and strong handling skills. I prioritize safety, exercise, and positive reinforcement, ensuring every dog feels secure, stimulated, and genuinely cared for on every walk.

Safety, trust & environment
Having worked as a nanny for nine years, being respectful of someone else’s home comes naturally to me. I’m mindful, tidy, and treat every space with care. I make sure pets feel safe, loved, and relaxed while maintaining the household exactly as I found it.
Information Charlotte H. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for any pet, I like to gather as much information as possible to make sure I can provide the best, safest experience. It’s important to know their routine (feeding times, walk schedule, sleep habits), temperament, energy level, and how they interact with other dogs or people. I also ask about any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or past injuries. Understanding triggers, fears, or behavioural quirks — such as reactivity, recall reliability, or separation anxiety — is especially important for safety.
A typical day
Every day is different because every dog is different. I tailor activities to suit each dog’s personality, energy level, and preferences. Some dogs love a game of fetch and will happily chase a ball for the entire walk, while others prefer a steady stroll with lots of sniffing and exploring. I like to vary the walks to keep things fun and stimulating — whether that’s heading somewhere open for a good run, practicing a bit of light training, or visiting a safe spot where they can enjoy a swim. My goal is always to make sure they’re mentally enriched, physically exercised, and having the best time possible.

Pet care experience
My love of dogs started when I was a child, I grew up with golden retrievers and ever since dogs have been a massive part of my life. I have walked and looked after dogs for a long time. It was when I was nannying in London and walking the families dog that I realised that I needed to do this full time. I was fully responsible for every aspect of her care, from feeding, washing, grooming and administering her prescriptions. I have dog walkers insurance and a clean and up to date DBS. I am also booked in to do a dog first aid course. I'm very excited to hear from you and meet all your wonderful dogs!
Reviews

Charlotte is amazing! A great communicator, hugely reliable, and Rocket is very happy and safe in her hands!

Charlotte was amazing! Thank you!
Charlotte is a real dog person, looked after Chomi and Ruby like they were her own, providing regular updates. They were very happy dogs and would love to go back and visit again. Thanks so much.
Charlotte is an incredibly kind, compassionate and attentive dog carer. Her intuitive approach and clear adoration of animals makes her the perfect choice for anyone looking for the best possible care for their dogs. My two miniature dachshunds adore her, and she will always be my first choice to ensure they’re well looked after when I’m away. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her!
